The facilities in the lodge were really good a washer, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, oven, microwave it was clean and comfortable it had everything you needed such as iron and ironing board, hairdryer, travel cot, electric fan. TVs with streaming services. Hot tub was amazing. Lovely peaceful and quiet, very dog friendly. The breakfast was nice and the meals we purchased were large portions and good value for money. Not a huge choice of lagers on draught or bottled but the York lager was nice. Not much around but there was a local pub within walking distance. We drove to Beverly market and York for the day which are not far in a car.

No bar area just a restaurant so if the Weather hadn’t been nice and we couldn’t sit outside there wouldn’t have been anywhere to go

There was nothing not to like. Only problem was we had was some noisy neighbours who checked in late and were very inconsiderate, partying till the early hours and speeding around the site. The next morning the owners kicked them out which was a relief.

Quiet, clean and well kept location. The staff were very helpful. We had a lovely time. Thank you.

The lodge tables and side tables a little grubby and some of the drawers still had previous customers dirty towels and tissues in them. We left them in place but cleaned the surfaces. The cover over the hot tub was a bit grimy. Edging on TV cabinate coming off and staines on the sofa seat cushion. The scatter cushions were a little dirty too (we put these in the spare room during our stay). But everything else was good.

The front of the property was a bit unkempt, the stairs were a bit dirty. The floors inside the property looked clean but on walking round in our socks they ended up dirty so they weren’t as clean as they looked. On leaving the cleaner was parked outside waiting for us to leave which I appreciate is 10am and thats the check out time but it felt a bit pressured having the cleaner waiting. We were told breakfast is delivered at 09:30am (no other time option was given) and we were expected to be out by 10am which isn’t alot of time time to eat, clean up etc before leaving.

Booked for a friends birthday and it was everything and more. Now looking at coming back with family at another time. Staff so lovely when we arrived and let me know everything about the accommodation. We paid for a party package and the tv was playing happy birthday when we arrived as well as providing balloons and banner. Such a lovely touch and we all said how much we loved it here. Already recommended to my sister in law who visits family nearby.

Loved everything. The lodge was very clean, modern and had everything needed for a great stay. We only had a one night stay for my birthday but it was a perfect hot sunny day to use the hot tub. Had take away food as we had a drink so couldn’t drive. The fish and chips were so delicious and a large portion. The site was so peaceful with small lakes & greenery and was very well kept.

Thought it was a bit expensive for a 1 night stay…£181.00 but was a one off treat. Would love to stay again if I can get it a bit cheaper. Also thought the check out time of 10 a.m. was a bit too early ~ 11 a.m. would be better. We had breakfast delivered to the lodge at 9.30 a.m. which was brilliant but had to throw it down and rush to get out by 10 a.m.

The lodge was great, rooms were comfy, hot tub was the highlight of our stay. Great for a family with small children. The ducks and rabbits around the lodge were very entertaining for my toddler.

Breakfast that was delivered was a little heavy and greasy so we couldn’t eat it but we can’t really complain as the breakfast was free. The location is a little remote, it was a 30min or more drive into York city centre

Lodge was beautiful,set in a lovely clean golf course, breakfast was beautifully cooked with excellent choss

TV wasn't working n went here when Euros were on so to relax and chill but had to go to restaurant to watch football, which I had to spend more money as I already had food and drink for the lodge but the owners tried there best to sort problem a couple of times. Overall excellent lodge and stay just shame TV not working and they said next time I'd get discount so be back again thanks for the great stay

I really enjoyed the view. I came when the weather was really lovely the hot tub was unreal such a nice place to stay so clean and the facilities was amazing. staff was welcomoning when first arrived and helped me locate my lodge.

The only things i would say is getting there was such a struggle i was sent to the wrong place twice and took me an extra 45 minutes to get there. Im not from this area so really wasnt easy to get there as its also part of a gold club which isnt on the maps.

The Lodge was beautiful. A great size wirh everything you need. The single beds were a good size too. Not like the small ones you get in caravans. Didn't get to use the hot tub but was definitely a bonus and would go back again for a girly weekend. The breakfast was fab and the area looked nice. Only stayed for one night and got there when it was dark so difficult to comment more on the actual site.
