Exceptionally clean room with pretty, fresh decor, comfortable bed & immaculate shower room. Olga is a friendly, attentive host and made sure we had everything we needed. We had our evening meal in the 66 Bistro downstairs, which was great, and extremely convenient after a long journey. Good location just outside York, with bus stop outside. Light bites are provided in the room for breakfast, or there is a bakery with 5 mins walk and a Farm Shop within a short drive.

Our room was quite small, and due to the exceptionally high temperatures at the time of our visit, it was extremely hot despite the fan provided.

The bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally clean.We would give it a 10/10 as the place was really nice and top quality decor..We didn’t want for anything more.Olga kept checking to see if things were ok and needed topping up with anything.She had left items to snack on for breakfast with tea,coffee and hot chocolate .Her instruction to find the place and get in were very easy.The bus stop was opposite to go to York and round the corner other ones to go to Stamford Bridge or Market Weighton.We went to the pub once too.We highly recommend this place.Enjoy

All was ok

The breakfast was decent and we used it :o) The room was deliciously lovely and warm and clean. Bathroom was clean and shower nice to use. Staff were helpful when I was looking at the wrong key box although we didn't meet. Wi-fi was good. There was a petrol station nearby that we used to charge our electric car. Not far from York city and Elvington airfield for my driving experience :o)

The squeaky floor - not a problem when sleeping yourself of course but I don't know how it affected the neighbouring room. The bathroom floor was cold. The shower window, although frosted I did shower but I didn't feel comfortable with it. My partner didn't use it because of the window. Perhaps some kind of blind would be useful? The building front door entrance was quite cold but then it was February. It was a shame the unconnected bistro business wasn't open for breakfast as I was looking forward to that although they did give alternatives but we had other plans. In fact, we quite like greek food and will certainly eat there if we come back to the area. All in all, these things wouldn't stop us coming back.

Me and my husband have just come back from staying here, we had the king-size room which was so lovely, clean and fresh, had the best night's sleep in the comfy huge bed. The room looks new! The facilities were perfect, the little breakfast items were a pleasant surprise too. Olga the host has been extremely helpful from day 1 of booking, even helped me with booking a taxi firm to get to Hallow Scream. Perfeft location, York designer outlet is 10 mins drive away and you can park and ride to York which we did. We will defo be recommending this lovely place and would most definitely stay again. This was an absolutely perfect stay for me and my partner over the new year period. Located a short drive from the centre so not too noisy with all the New Year’s Eve party goers but still close enough to get to and from the centre of York. Extremely clean and really spacious and very well put together. Really nice little touches aswell like the hot chocolates and biscuits and porridge pots for breakfast too. We would definitely stay here again and located in a really lovely area also 😃

Honestly there was nothing not too like about this place

The self service access meant that you were free to check in/out in your own timeframe, not having to rely on a description desk to let you in/out late at night. Our host kept up informed about the room prior to check in, ensuring that everything was covered in great detail, along with restaurant and cafe recommendations in the local area. The actual room itself is in a beautiful little village, with tons of free on road parking directly in front of the hotel. Both my guest and I said we absolutely adored the location, and we would be more than happy to return in future. Some more positives: - Extremely comfortable bed - Warm room with temperature control - Great bathroom with shampoo/conditioner/body wash and hand soap included - Variety of breakfast snacks included - Sizeable room that feels really warm and comfortable - Only a few miles out of York city center (with great travel links) Also as a side note we were fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights during our stay, so even more bonus points for our stay!

The only gripe was the WiFi was a bit slow, but as one negative out of all the positives I'm sure I can live with mobile data!

Really nice comfortable stay. Spacious room, nicely decorated, with a big comfortable bed and a clean, modern ensuite bathroom. Lots of options provided to make yourself a cuppa which was appreciated. Easy self check in and self check out. Lovely communicative host. A few continental breakfast items available in the room - please note the cafe downstairs (independent from the guesthouse) has pretty limited hours so early risers need not plan to eat breakfast there

Location is the only downside - need to get a bus or taxi from town as it is too far to walk, and the buses are not especially frequent in the evening or early morning.

Although we did not meet Olga she was very attentive, she provided lots of nice things in the room and checked in with us every day by text to make sure everything was fine. The room is spotless, the shower is hot and powerful, the bed is comfortable. The location is perfect - very close to York but in a quiet, pretty village.

Nothing we did not like. One improvement might be a mini-fridge so we could keep our milk cool?

We loved this place. A small and cosy apartment consisting of one bedroom and a bathroom. It was super clean, really comfortable and a great shower! The location was lovely, centre of the pretty village of Dunnington. There is a bakery and shop just up the road and there was a Bistro under the flats and we were able to order and collect a delicious dinner from them.

Can't fault anything.

An absolute gem. Village centre room above a wonderful little Bistro. The room is up some stairs which is fine for us, but may not suit people with mobility issues. The room itself is one of 2 and has a lovely en-suite shower room. TV, fan, Tea and Coffee and a very comfy bed. All beautifully presented. The communication from the owners was first class before and during our stay, so full marks there too. The village itself is lovely and the Bistro downstairs served top quality food and great service. We didn't stay for Breakfast as we had to get going, but we almost certainly would have done. Genuinely a lovely property and we hope to come back again.

There is nothing to dislike. It was as good as it gets.
