Around a 20-minute walk down to the harbour, from where you can catch the shuttle that takes you on the Fraser Island day trips. The units are in a gated complex. We had a villa that had an open plan lounge / kitchen, a separate bedroom and bathroom, and an outside patio. It also came with a secure garage. The villa was nicely decorated and furnished, and was very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The room had a kettle, fridge, washing machine and drier, and iron and ironing board. Everything you need! The reception is located outside the entrance gate. We didn’t have time to use any of the other facilities. We met the NZ couple who have recently become the new management for the resort. They were lovely and very helpful. Our thanks!

Absolutely nothing

The property sent us a text earlier than check in to say the apartment was ready if we wanted to check in early. The apartment was beautiful and the pool and spa were fantastic. Very close to everything including beach and shops. Amazing welcome from reception. Air con in all rooms, washer and dryer. Wonderful being able to have our dog with us. Highly recommend.

There was no battery at all in the upstairs smoke alarm (it was open and hanging) and the downstairs alarm beeped continuously- when reported to front desk we were told to look up the manufacturer’s instructions for how to fix it. Had very minimal supplies so had to purchase dishwasher capsules and laundry detergent, salt and pepper etc for our stay.

Huge bathrooms. Excellent. Good air-conditioning and kitchen facilities. Pebbled courtyard was uncomfortable to use. Lounge was appalling and horrible. So low to ground you couldn't get out of it. Good for kids only. Very uncomforta.ble. We were 3 adults and all of us complained of neck and back aches. We were in unit 57. 2nd bedroom was good but bed bearable. Very low to ground and had foam mattress on top. Pool small but adequate. Spa huge in comparison. Weird. Good security. We had our 3 dogs with us it's not thst dig friendly but ok. Dog beach in walking distance but a fair way from shops and restaurants.

Pebbled courtyard. Uncomfortable lounge. 1 lounge was only seating beside kitchen table. Not a very hospital welcome. Not very dog friendly. But ok.

On entering reception, I was greeted by a very friendly lady who explained how to use the keys and gate entry. She gave me details of restaurants close by. The accommodation was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. We were informed that our car had to be garaged ( but this was straightforward as the garage was a good size). Beds were comfortable and the house had laundry facilities. We wanted for nothing! A Lovely area to holiday in and we hope we can visit again. Recommend visiting the local tourist Information as they were very helpful

Only wish the weather had been a little bit warmer!

The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The 2 bathrooms were great. The kitchen had ample utensils, crockery and cookware. The large fridge and the washer and dryer were a bonus. The complex was secure and the double garage added to the secure feel. The beach and marina were a short walk away and the Botanic gardens a short drive away. There was a supermarket quite close.

The rear outdoor area was untidy and the clothes line was covered in spider webs. But the plants in the garden were nice and shady.

The apartment was lovely. Spacious and quiet. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Location was an easy 3 minute walk to the beach which was also quiet and uncrowded. We felt safe and secure and the rental car was garaged. Our hosts were attentive; not that we needed anything as all we expected was provided. We would stay here again should a future trip involve Hervey Bay.

The lighting in the apartment was subdued in most areas. Old fashioned lightbulbs were low wattage and provided little light. Use of LED's is a must. Much brighter and so much cheaper on power for the owners. The bedside light was so dim it couldn't be used for reading by. So I purchased a bulb of my own which I donated when we left.

It was a whole apartment so plenty of room, we were only there one night so couldn't make the most of it. Had it's own garage so we didn't get wet unloading. Loved that it was so quiet. Had a bath as well as shower. A close drive to Boat Club which had nice meals but SO big.

The position meant we had to drive to dinner but as it was raining heavy anyway that was always going to be best option. It was a bit dark and gloomy but once again that wasn't helped by the rainy conditions.

Having read other reviews which are very mixed I think like many holiday accommodations the villas are owned by independent owners and these owners maintain then to each individual owners standard which makes it difficult and very much pot luck as to what you get. We made a late decision to book on our way back home. The lady receptionist was lovely, She did mention they were new . We checked in and were given our villa key which also opens the large electric gates. We had Villa 25 and were delighted with the standard of presentation. The furniture was well above the standard of most holiday apartments/villas. The bed was super comfy. We had a 2 bedroom Villa, the lounge dining area was huge as was the TV, it had a full size kitchen, full size fridge, cooker and cook top, Plenty of hot water as well. There was crockery and cutlery so very self contained. Lounge has a A/C but what we really liked was the fact the bedroom had a fan and you could open the sliding door at night as it had again a quality screen door. The pool area has a well set up BBQ area and plenty of seating.

The only small negatives , the outside court yard area of our villa had a lot of weeds which needed to be sprayed, the other quite annoying thing is that there are signs that say , if you have a large vehicle that does not fit your garage you have to park outside on the street. This is ignored by some of the visitors or residents. We went out to dinner and came back to find a huge 4X4 parked opposite our garage door which meant we had to go door knocking to find the owner and ask them to move it which they did but in the morning when we went to leave it had been parked next to our villa again making it difficult for us to get our car out. As I have stated I think the managers are new , hopefully they can fix the issues others encountered because it really is a lovely place to stay.

Love this property would 100% stay again. Super friendly and easy to check in and access. Parking is in a garage. Super dog friendly. Very spacious and big kitchen. The pool is wonderful and local residents lovely too

Personally only small things, bed a bit soft. The kitchen could have a bit more cookware and crockery but this is minor and all the essentials were there

Spacious apartment with fantastic facilities including full kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms and additional powder room. Apartment was clean and has aircon/ceiling fans throughout and a 2nd tv in main bedroom. Good showers and spa (we didn't get to use it though). Beds were large and comfy although slightly on the firm side for us. Location is 10-15 minute walk from marina where the whale cruises depart and the boat club which is decent for a drink/meal. Best accommodation we had during our week and a half of travel up and down central/north Qld. Would stay again.

Unfortunately no internet service was available during our stay and I'm told this is primarily due to sporadic reception within Hervey Bay. Quarterdecks is looking to upgrade their system also.
