It's good for the price you pay.Most Hotels in Ventura are expensive.My friend and I just need a couple days to breath from work and we are on budget.😀This Motel 6 is surprisingly clean.Amtrak station is walking distance.Pretty much everything are walking distance Basilica, beach, pier, restaurants / bar downtown Good water pressure( shower ) Staff are friendly and coffee all day available at front desk.Liquor store next door and bus stop up front Check out time is 11am but our train scheduled to leave at 2:30pm, Paul is kind enough to let us leave our luggage for a little bit while we grab something to eat and took some pictures at Mission Basilica San Buenaventura while waiting for our train..for that Thank you Paul.I think his is Paul😊 .

Shower door wont close all the way and no coffee cream

Fantastic location a block from the entrance to the Ventura Pier and 2 blocks from Main Street. Staff is friendly and helpful, offering free cookies and coffee at the front desk. Bedding was notably clean and comfortable for a Motel 6.

Not their fault but there were many smokers staying at the property. The first room they offered me reeked of cigarettes (even though all rooms are nonsmoking), they quickly offered me another room that was fine. There were the same butts littering the stairs the entire 3 days I was there.

A very nice Budget hotel, clean, and comfortable, a very nice, kind staff, walking distance to downtown Ventura, bus stop right in front. Close to the ocean, beautiful Pier, a lot of good places to eat. In general, a very laid back atmosphere. I like to write, so the world's unexpected, is what I think of as a learning experience. Anyway, I like laid back, A Bohemian experience.

Please know there are 3 Motel 6 in this little town and be very sure of the address you are going to. I thought I was at a different one and well after a long day on the road was not ecstatic about an extra UBER ride. Not the Hotels fault, but who would have thought in such a small place there would be 3 Motel 6's.

This is the BEST motel6 I’ve ever stayed ! The manager, works 24/7 runs the entire motel w/3 women who do the housekeeping these women are long time employees at this motel So the Manager is doing some very big thing right !!! Theirs this HARMONY and the plus if your lucky enough are the cookies baked fresh given at check-in

I could not afford to stay longer

For me, since I don't drive, plus, I'm older, walking distance, plus bus stop right at the front. Good casual restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the ocean, and Pier, if one wants to fish, surfing. The staff are very nice, very clean, and comfortable. Good Budget. Casual.

This stay was during the fires, I did feel safe. I also think sometimes feeling safe is just delusional. Especially in these times of hopefully growth, and understanding. Anyway it's a nice motel, also close to the beach, can walk. Restaurants, buses,

First off I just want to say thank you to front desk Paul for helping me with a smooth check in process. My room was nice & clean so I’m very happy about that. No bugs, good ac, and right by the beach !! Housekeeping was on it & accommodated me with my room supplies right away when I needed them.

Unpretentious, budget minded motel, very comfortable , close to some good casual, very good food restaurants. Walking distance to the ocean, and pier. Very nice staff. Bus stop, overall I enjoyed staying here. Just I found in general nicely down to earth.

The staff is very helpful and courteous. When I arrive, I feel like I'm visiting a friend. The location is perfect for my needs in Ventura being close to the freeway, beach and downtown area. The room itself was clean, spacious and very comfortable. This is my number 1 choice for lodging in Ventura, CA.
