This is a great property with modern amenities and a lot of services making for an overall high class experience. For context, this was our second trip to Athen's, the first being a quick day long visit via a Mediterranean cruise two years ago. This second visit was the third part of our vacation having started with three days in Venice followed by a nine day cruise through Greece, Turkey, Croatia, and Montenegro. We spent 4 days at this property and as it turned out, this Hotel was a perfect staging area for touring the city and the rest of Greece. My wife and I take a major trip every two years and when we plan them, we pay very close attention to customer experience reviews. This hotel came very well recommended and those reviews were spot-on. We chose it for its location at the edge of the Plaka neighborhood, it's modernity, the available pool and spa, and the views from both the 10th floor restaurant and some of the available rooms. The amazing views of the Acropolis will forever be burned in my memory! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room service and early morning checkout experiences were highlights. The property is considered a major hotel so all the private tours we booked through Viator all had convenient pickup in the lobby. We also booked private airport and cruise port transfers directly through the Hotel which was extremely convenient. Don't hesitate to book this hotel as you will not be disappointed!

There was nothing we "didn't like" per se,, but I do have some minor critiques. Some light maintenance needs to be done in spots throughout the hotel. For example, when you went to press a button in the elevator, the whole control panel wanted to pop out of the wall. My wife and I were not partial to the evening restaurant food, thus the room service experience which was very positive. The 10th floor restaurant, while beautiful with tremendous views, got pretty warm what with the Summer heat...time to crank up the AC. We tried to get a full queen sized bed, but wound up settling for the two twins pushed together...common in Europe. We weren't used to this, but we made due, and it turned out to be O.K. As you can see, nothing at all "deal-breaking" here.

Choice on offer for breakfast and the quality of the food was very good. Cleanliness of our room and hotel was of a high standard. Staff were very professional and helpful both in the restaurant, house keeping and reception.

On a sunny day we were allocated an outdoor seat for breakfast. It was very busy, so there was not much choice available. Next to our table there was a small wall with an ashtray placed on top, which encouraged smokers to congregate there. Having to breathe in second hand cigarette smoke at the breakfast table was very unpleasant. The location of our room faced the back of the hotel and we were frequently woken up with the noise of bottles being disposed of in the street below.

Rooftop restaurant was great for.both breakfast and cocktails in the evening with.great views of the Acropolis. Great location.

Staff at the reception wasn't really the most friendly. The room was rather small for the price point.

The staff is brilliant, friendly and very helpful and makes up for all the nuances with the hotel premises. Location is very good, very good breakfasts 👌🏻

The hotel is quite modest in both the design and the interior. It basically lacks a luxury lobby area and gym is very small (6-7 people will already not fit inside).

The rooftop restaurant with the Acropolis view - never tired of it.

There was no more drinking water provided beyond the first night. Breakfast buffet is the same every day so lacking a bit in variety.

Room was comfortable and clean. Room service did two visits a day to check on items provided. Beds were comfortable and the chair and desk were also good. Shower was excellent (large rain shower head, plus hand head) although had a bit of room flooding when we used it. Little touches, like leaving a chocolate during turn down service were lovely. We were there over New Years Eve and the hotel left a traditional greek new years cake for us to enjoy, and a small locally made ornament to celebrate the holiday. It was a veery thoughtful touch that added to the pleasure of the stay. The lobby area was clean and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed a coffee in the cafe area. The absolute highlight was the breakfast buffet. The restaurant area has the most spectacular view of The Acropolis. The buffet was fresh, with lots of variety including local and international ingredients. The hotel was located within a 15 minute walk of the Acropolis museum and well situated for shopping and site seeing. I didn't book a room with a view, so was looking out over a narrow street, but still had some regional view.

Almost nothing to complain about. If you are looking for quiet, it may not be the best choice as the evening crowds could be heard in the rooms. Really enjoyed the stay.

The view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing. You could see the Acropolis really easily, but I think you can see that from a lot of places in Athens. When I’d like was the pool actually the design was lovely and it had the beds in the water, which is not something you would generally find in a downtown hotel like this. It felt like we were still in one of the islands when we sat on those beds. I also thought the breakfast breakfast included was amazing. And the stuff was very friendly.

I think just in general, I would’ve preferred a different location, but I don’t think that has to do with the property. It has to do with my choice.

Genuinely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at in Athens. I’ve been traveling to this wonderful city for decades, and I’ve stayed at many hotels, including the five-star one quite close by. This hotel outshines all of them. By far, the entire staff was amazing. Every person that works here knows exactly how to take care of guests. All the front desk folks are great. And Teo and Petros were exceptionally helpful as bellman. The view from the roof is stunning. Location is superb. I can’t wait to return here and I recommend this property 100%.

Gym is too small. But Holmes Place is close by and it’s a good gym.

Excellent breakfast, delicious and with a variety of choices. The view of the Acropolis from the hotel restaurant is breathtaking. The location is really good, within a walking distance from all the main sites. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend.

The shower room itself is comfortable. The showerhead, however, doesn't really do the job - it's very large but the water flow is too weak and doesn't feel effective. The robe rack is on the inside bathroom door, and every time you open the door, it feels like they're touching the bidet. Not a good idea. Lack of towel racks
