What can I say about my stay in whisky capital and what can I say about the staff and all the girls that works in there...we had an unforgettable experience thanks to the warm hospitality and the big Big patience of the girls always available for everything. We didn't expect to have breakfast included😆 and dinner in the place also was outstanding. We stayed for just 3 night but I felt connected to the place and the staff like I know it since very long... It was great! If you are in spey side and Dufftown can't recommend this little family hotel enough!

very small town, limited options. We had a fantastic time. Great, friendly staff. Pub was downstairs, very convenient. Easy to park right out front. Close to several distilleries (a short drive or a longer walk). Limited things to do in the town, very limited places to eat, but as a home base to drive around the region, we loved it. Food in the pub for dinner was good. I would go back.
breakfast was ok, but not my favourite on the the trip. The closest scotch distillery was a little further than I had thought. My dream was it across the street! Just know the town has limited options to do at night (this pub is the only place to go), I wished the town had several pubs to do a pub crawl. This is not the properties fault of course, they are brilliant, it's just the town was smaller than I expected for a busy whisky trail area experience. It was winter when we went, so maybe other things pop up to do in the summer. That all said, I'd stay here again, as the other options in the region limited. Having a car was very helpful.

Breakfast was fantastic - the staff were very accommodating and kind, and the food excellent! The attached restaurant served wonderful food for dinner, and the whisky selection was amazing. I appreciated the extra amenities in the room like a water kettle, extra blankets, etc.
Climate control - there was a window to open if it got too hot, but that was it. A plug-in fan would have been appreciated. The single bed was also pushed against a wall, so it limited moving around and getting comfortable.

This is was the best experience for my husband, myself, and our little 2 year old. The facility was full of character and Scottish charm. Our room was very comfortable and more spacious than we expected. It was exceptionally clean too! The staff were so welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We ate a late lunch in the pub and then had the free breakfast that was included in our stay. Both meals were amazing, but we were really impressed with the hot and made to order breakfast they provided for us. You absolutely cannot beat the experience you get for such a reasonable cost. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!
Nothing! Everything exceeded expectations!

PERFECT location, short walk to the Glen Fiddich distillery, and in the heart of Dufftown in a beautiful old building. The pubs, shops and Co-Op all within a 2 min walk. The best vegetarian breakfast I've had so far on this trip, hearty and delicious. Free parking right outside. Very quiet room. Very clean facilities.
A bar fridge would've been nice, although wasn't advertised so I knew it wouldn't be included! Other than that... can't think of anything else I didn't like! It was a pretty great room especially for the cost.

I stayed here in a twin room with my father so we could visit the Glenfiddich Distillery. It was ideally located for this. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The staff were brilliant - really welcoming and helpful.
Our room was right at the top of the property in a converted attic (I’m guessing). I knew it was a shared bathroom, which was just across the hall. The room was pretty small and could have done with a chair in there but it probably wouldn’t have fitted. Not a complaint as such, but next time I’ll pay a bit more and get a bigger room with en suite.

The location is great: Right in the middle of town. It is a good place for visiting all the distilleries. The staff was friendly and the adjoining restaurant offers great menus and a huge range of whisky. Even though we had a room right above the kitchen, there was no smell and just an average noise level. We had a great view from there. Also the noise from the pub just underneath was on a low level (and we stayed there on the weekend!)
We would have loved to get a room with a double bed:-(

Fantastic stay, made to feel very welcome as soon as I arrived, nice clean room with good selection of tea and coffee and a comfortable clean bed. Craig behind the bar was friendly and polite. Meal at night was delicious, very enjoyable and nice portions. Breakfast in the morning was harty and so tasty. Hayley who served it was Fantastic, a lovely girl, nothing was too much bother for her. Hope to return again soon
The bar closed to early 😆

What a great experience. Everyone here was friendly, the rooms were clean, spacious, and great, and the location was right in the heart of Speyside. We walked to Glenfiddich and Balvenie. When I come back for a distillery tour, I plan on using The Whisky Capital Inn as my base of operations to tour the whole area! And their restaurant serves top notch culinary delights, with a whisky selection that is unrivaled!
The Scotland rain - but that's not The Whisky Capital Inn's fault!
