It was a really good hotel with pool being open till 9:30 and the rooms were good nothing much to complain about. I also want to mention that they have halal food and halal certification for future Muslim travelers although pork is served as well. So future Islamic Tourists, please note on the date 26 February 2025, this hotel has HALAL certified food and menu.

The charging outlets seemed a bit slow, took a long time to charge my phone and the other thing is in 2025 they only have Chromecast on the tv and no screen mirroring or a smart tv being a 5* hotel

I had an absolutely perfect stay at the InterContinental Chiang Mai – 10 out of 10 in every way. Traveling solo, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for by the entire team. The service was exceptional, and every staff member I encountered was warm, attentive, and professional. I especially enjoyed the rooftop bar – it had a great vibe, cool music, and excellent service. My only small suggestion would be to expand the food menu a bit, as it currently focuses solely on Chinese cuisine, which felt a little limiting for such a versatile space. Still, the overall experience was fantastic. My room was wonderful – stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Breakfast was quite busy, but the staff managed it all with calm and efficiency. While everyone was truly great, I have to give a special shout-out to Khun Nui at breakfast – she was an absolute star and made my morning brighter. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay so memorable.

Honestly the stay was just there for a 5star hotel. Staff were nice.

The breakfast had a wide option but it honestly was just there. The Thai food I have had in belgium was 💯 better than what we had here, Pastries for a 5star hotel was very low quality. Shocked to see a lot of people in the comment saying breakfast was good. We had waffles and boiled eggs for breakfast for the 4nights we stayed there as that was the only thing that was manageable.

This is an incredibly luxurious hotel with the most gentle staff possible. It started with our check-in by Mrs. Need. Also special attention to mss. Yaya and Mr Nouk who treated us like royals in the club. The rooms are so bright, modern and completely silent. The view is breathtaking, the breakfast is amazing and the poolside sunbeds are almost King Size. Also especially for the Pool staff who were perfect at everything they did. Cleaning was excellent. Of course, I can't thank anyone, like the people behind the scenes, but they all deserve a 6 star rating! Thank you very much, also for the small but much appreciated details on our arrival.

I loved absolutely everything about this hotel. The staff kept apologizing that everything is not at 100 % since they were opened for only two months and there were still some work ongoing (the rooftop was not opened yet etc). However, we certainly did not get that impression. This hotel is so wonderfully stylish, so beautifully decorated, the staff is excellent, super nice. They do everything in their power that you can feel truly the best. The breakfast was outstanding (the variety of foods, soup station,…), twice daily free workouts, beautiful garden, lobby, pool area and coffee lounge. They even have a great and perfectly equipped indoor playground for children with two assistants which were taking great care of our one year old baby girl.

The room was large, clean, and well laid-out, with a wonderful bathtub AND tropical shower. Everything was thoughtfully designed, and it shows. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, to a truly impressive degree. Even though we booked VERY last minute, they prepared a delicious cake for us and decorated our room because I mentioned it was our anniversary. Overall, an absolutely magical experience.

The staff go out of their way to help you and it’s right in the middle of the main part of Chang Mai

I felt the room was a little bit small and had a bit too much furniture in it, I stayed on my own and I can imagine it feeling quite small if I had someone with me - I’d recommend taking some of the clutter around the bed to make it easier to walk around (constructive criticism and is just my opinion) I really enjoyed my stay overall

Very noisy A/C in the rooms, had to switch off during the night which was ok in December, no changing area in the gym, small outdoor swimming pool area for the size of the hotel, only two elevators (too much waiting in the morning)

Everything was beyond expectations. The special attention provided by the staff, the quality of the room and amenities have been very appreciated. The restaurants and the overall building arr mind blowing. I hope to return to Chiang Mai and I will definitely stay again at InterContinental.

Super friendly staff, great hotel, we enjoyed our stay so much! Even during and after the earthquake, they cared about us guests, gave us water, refreshments etc. We would always come back, we liked the design as well so much, it’s an oasis in Chiang Mai.
