The hotel is beautiful and a great location to walk down to Windermere and the breakfast was great

We were very unlucky about the room we was situated within. We were in room 210 which is right next to the stairs so all night was kept up by noise of people going up and down the stairs or saying good night at the section our door was. It was so loud we could barely sleep as kept getting woken up. Also, there was two receptionists, the guy in particular came across very abrupt.

Great location. Breakfast very good. All staff very friendly. Rooms nice and great shower. Able to leave car in carpark if going out for walk on last morning.

Room was really warm even though radiator wasn't on. Was fine though just had to have window open a bit. Not a complaint at all.

We’ve been staying here over the past 13 years, never disappointed. It’s our first time since the refurbishment of lounges, dining room etc and it’s elevated the hotel to something resembling a boutique hotel. The staff were excellent again, particularly the gent from Wirral who served us our drinks on Thursday evening, a very sociable and engaging person who deserves special mention on this occasion. We’ll be back next year.

The only observation would be the lack of air circulation in the bedrooms, particularly on warmer days and nights.

Just come back from an amazing stay here with my partner. 10 out of 10 for everything. The hotel itself was modern, immaculate and was in a perfect location. The views were fantastic especially from our room. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the little touches like the fresh cookies left each morning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and there was so much to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel, we are even in the process of booking our next trip here again later on in the year as we loved it so much.

Friendly, professionally focused staff; clean, comfortable accommodation; excellent terrace & breakfast room looking out to Langdale Pike & the Lake. We had let the hotel know that we would be celebrating our birthdays and they did their part in making each of our celebrations that little more special. Breakfast should not be missed! Buffet style with excellent choice to fill up as little or as much to set you up for the day’s exploration! We would have no problem in recommending Craig Manor as a great hotel in a great location in The Lake District National Park. We had booked a lake facing room which is the quieter side of the hotel.

The Hotel was beautiful, very clean, room was decorated lovely, extremely comfy bed, robes and slippers included, great view over the garden to the Lake. Dining room was super stylish as was reception. Breakfast was plentiful, unrushed with a magnificent view. Plenty of free parking. Staff were very courteous and we were very grateful that they recognised our stay was for our wedding anniversary and left chocolates in our room...as well as the delicious cookies with the tea and coffee making facilities.

The only little thing id have to say was the fact the restaurant was closed in the evening...breakfast only! We would have eaten in the night of our stay as the weather was wetter than wet! So we had to go elsewhere, fortunately we had our car to do so.

The breakfast was amazing, good amount of choice and well cooked. The staff were happy to bring food from the kitchen due to dietary requirements and safety. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was stocked with various teabags and coffee. The room and bathroom were spotless and the bed was very comfortable.

Only a small thing - the bedside lamps were extremely bright, so there wasn't much option for dim light for one person. It may have been helpful to include shower caps in the bathroom, as the shower was overhead.
