Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Also the onsite restaurant was excellent, make sure you’re hungry as the portions are enormous! The rooms are a little tired but this was made up for by the exceptionally nice refurbished bathroom and one of the most powerful showers I’ve ever experienced it was great.

Sadly the noise from the passing traffic can be quite disturbing to your sleep at times but this can occur in most motels next to roads.

Location was good

I didn’t like that car parking was “unregulated “! We could not park in front of our room because other rooms who had more than one car took our space. We arrived back from dinner about 9.30pm and we had to park in front of another unit, as “park anywhere “ was the rule. I’d suggest the label the car parks with a room number so we didn’t feel so uneasy about where to park.

I stayed at the Cattle City Motor Inn after arriving from a trip pout in the bush. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and service of this motel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and had a nice view of the city. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel also has a pool and a restaurant next door which were great. The location is convenient and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a over night quality stay in Rocky. It was a great value for money and a pleasant experience. Thank you, Cattle City Motor Inn, for making my trip easier and more enjoyable!

I always stay at this hotel, as once I find a great place I stick with it, the management team are nothing short of exceptional, my wife and son and I dinned in the gorgeous and cosy little restaurant and enjoyed very generous and delicious meals, that were great value for money, the little built in restaurant is truly relaxing and comfortable, kind of like an old English pub, we stayed for drinks at the bar and really enjoyed the serene atmosphere that this little gem has to offer, trully great value, and the team, go above and beyond to ensure that you enjoy your stay

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice, cooked well and presented nicely. Excellent lemon lime and bitters!

As is the case with most older motels it is starting to show its age, especially on the outside. They also still allow smoking outside of the rooms, but it ruins it for those of us who don't smoke. I personally cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke or dirty ashtrays, the smoke affects my breathing, and the smell is disgusting.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, aircon worked good, room was presented clean and having the option to check in later than office hours was good, as I arrived later than originally planned.

Was difficult to find a car park at times, was a couple of times I had to park down the back off to the side of a driveway as there were no car parks available. That was the only negative thing I experienced.

Facility was nice. Staff were good

The parking is a bit tight. I know there is nothing you can do about it, but could provide more information via site photos. I was going to show up with a trailer, but luckily I didn't. I had trouble just fitting my ranger in the only spots available in the underground car park.

Really good location for us. It was close by to where family live but easy to get around Rockhampton from here also.

Our room wasn't refreshed despite leaving the "please make up room" sign on front door and we had to request items from reception after a long day out.

The managers were friendly and very helpful.

The traffic Friday afternoon made it difficult to get onto the road from the hotel

Staff were very accommodating as we had to change our plans due to road closures. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable.
