The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & housekeeping refreshed the towels & made the beds every day. Convenient location & very short walk to cross the street to Reagan’s for the delicious breakfast buffet. We really looked forward to the perk of having donuts available in the office lobby & enjoyed the evening entertainment & rocking chairs in the pavilion after a long day out exploring the area. Outdoor pool & surrounding area is very nice. I would stay here again; our second visit to TN. Love the Smoky Mountains!

Loved everything. From making reservations all the way to check out the experience was amazing. Great price for an amazing room that had more amenities than expected. All staff were professional, friendly and overall great making you feel so welcome. The room was beautiful and huge and had so much room to move around. It was clean and everything including the fireplace and kitchenette made us feel like we were staying in a fancy hotel. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve had. The pool was beautiful and peaceful. S’mores and music at night was perfect. And you can’t beat the location. Snacks and beverages were offered complimentary throughout the day. Just about everything was just a short walk away and even though you’re right off the main strip it was nice and quiet. My family and I loved it here and definitely will be staying here when we come back to Pigeon Forge for our next vacation.

Absolutely nothing

Love the location and the courtyard decor is so beautiful with bird houses and sculptures everywhere. Every staff member we met was friendly. There was fresh coffee, hot drinks, fresh fruits and donuts available in the lobby all day, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable ones I ever experienced.

No soap dish next to the sink. Leaving soap on counter top made it messy. There could be leaking problem in the bathroom because there were many brown water stain spots on the ceiling. A regular size coffee maker in the room would be easier on us. The inside of microwave was dirty, which preventing us from using. There were only 4 hangers in the closet which weren't enough for us. Room cleaning could be done before noon while we were out instead of late in the afternoon. The tag for the door would be better to have "please clean the room" on one side so that we won't need to contact front desk.

First, I want to say we have stayed several times and each time has been great. The location is perfect. Rooms are amazing and bigger than most. We were there, Easter, and when we got back to our room, they had left Easter bags for the kiddos filled with goodies, so that was a nice surprise for them. Also, Randy goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The kids also did s'more each night at the fire pit, and the live music is a plus. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved everything.

It was very nice being given a breakfast voucher for Regans' Pancake House for the discounted price. With the cost of lodging, meals etc, being able to save anywhere we can is wonderful. We also enjoyed having snacks available in the lobby 24 hours. Sometimes when we weren't really hungry for a meal, that little snack of donuts and/or fruit with coffee/tea was just right. It was also nice being within walking distance of most attractions and restaurants, saving on having to get in our car and drive everywhere. We only drove when we wanted to...such as to Gatlinburg and Dollywood.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and efficient. I checked in to the hotel in under five minutes. The room was clean, and the towel animals on the bed with chocolate were unexpected. The cleaning staff went above and beyond to make your stay happy. The staff in the lobby kept coffee ready for the guests at all times. My friends and I loved that The Island at Pigeon Forge was within walking distance from the hotel. Also, sitting on the river at night, listening to music from the Island was great. Then when we returned to our room we could hear the sing-along going on at the hotel while eating s'more it was awesome. I am already planning a return trip with my husband and my kids. Along with a girlfriend and her family that was with me on this stay. I can not express how much I enjoy this stay. The only thing is that I will take a box fan to drown out the sound of the birds in the morning next time.

Would like to have a bigger coffee pot for a four person room or an individual k-cup coffee maker in the room. But I will insure to bring mine with me next time. With coffee in the lobby, this was not a deal breaker for me. It's still worth the stay.

Everything

The only thing I didn’t like was the housekeepers would knock on our door and open it, they didn’t give us time to answer it. As soon as they knock the door opens, this happened twice. On our last day, check out is at 11 and they knocked around 9:45 and opened the door. I was standing in front of mirror getting ready and my husband was getting our stuff together. We did not have a do not disturb sign in our room to hang on the door. They need to allow us time to answer the door before coming on in. I wasn’t to happy about that. Everything else was great!!

The beds were nice and the room was clean. Your room comes with ample pillows and they are super fluffy. We even had a couple in the wardrobe that were different firmness.

The parking situation isn't the best and we were on the bottom floor in the corner so we had no view of our vehicle from the room. When we arrived there were people doing maintenance on the roof so it was very loud for the first hour or so. Check in was at 4pm which I feel is very late to begin with but we arrived around 4:30 and the room was not ready.

Location was great! We could walk to so much. Excellent hospitality! Front desk was welcoming and helpful. You could tell they had upgraded and refurbished in recent years and it was done do well. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Extra touches like towel animals were nice. Full time coffee, hit chocolate & snacks in lobby and nightly campfire. We let them know we were celebrating a birthday and they had a cake in the room on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

The only negative was that the sink area was so small. It’s combined with the fridge, coffee & microwave area and all of that in a tight space.

A lot of accommodations for kids. Value was good. It is a motel style facility, so not a 5 star hotel but it had a lot for the group we travel with.( high school softball team) Fishing poles for the river behind the facility. Heated pool with toys, hot tub, s’mores for the outdoor fire. Donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and hot cider in the office. You can also walk to the Island.

It could have been cleaner around the facility. The couch and chair in our room was a little dirty. Hair left in the tub.
