The location really makes all the difference. It’s so convenient to have everything within walking distance definitely adds to the overall experience.

While the location of the property was great, we had a disappointing experience with a person offering what seemed like a free return stay. It turned out to be a timeshare presentation, not a show as we were led to believe. Worse, the promised 3-night return stay wasn’t for the main Margaritaville Hotel, but for the Inn next door a completely different experience. We felt misled and wouldn’t have agreed to it if the full details were made clear upfront.

It was convenient and best of both worlds for our family. The rooftop pool and bar with a fitness center made up for the beach trip that didn’t happen , and location was good for the regular activities everyone loves about the Smokies.

The daily self-parking charge is a little ridiculous in my opinion. The hotel stay itself is very pricy , but it’s expected at an upscale hotel. Parking should come with any resort stay in my opinion with valet being an additional charge for those who prefer it. Also , the thermostat in the rooms were governed at 68 degrees. That is still too warm for comfortable sleep. Also , the yelling and running down the halls should not be allowed after certain hours due to some already trying to sleep for an early day. Hotel halls should be a low noise level out of respect for guests anyway.

The AC in the room worked wonderfully, which was a real treat after walking in the heat. The balcony view of the shops was perfect for people-watching. We received complimentary margarita vouchers and bottled water at check-in, which was a nice touch. The location is ideal if you don’t want to drive—there’s plenty to walk, see, and do.

The bed and pillows leave a lot to be desired. I think there were two types of pillows, but overall, they just felt frumpy. Also, keep in mind that both parking and room locations generally require a good bit of walking—especially if your room is located at the far end of the lobby.

The hotel and amenities were exceptionally clean, organized and professional. The views were beautiful and our group of 4 adults and 4 kids all had a great time!

I feel that the fees were excessive and not well explained. For instance, we paid $10 per day for parking. No one asked where we parked. How did they know my grandmother didn't drop me off or something? Also, state taxes? Occupancy taxes? I have never heard of this while staying at a resort. So might consider Margaritaville something we have done and move on to something else next time. The hotel was really fantastic though.

Location was great

The room looked clean until I dropped my mascara and it rolled under bathroom vanity. Someone left some underwear there, unsure how long it’s been there. Just yuck. For 200.00 + for weekday room you get used underwear.

location is great, the island is packed with shops and restaurants all within walkable from the hotel. the only issue we had was the shower in our room, the water was not very hot and the overhead rain shower dripped cold water on you as you are showering. also, there was not a seal on the bottom of the shower door and water gets all over the floor as you shower.

the shower in the room looked nice but was below the standard of this otherwise very nice hotel. also, the parking fee of $10 per night seems ridiculous when you have a free parking lot that adjoins the pay lot and they wont give you the option of parking in the free lot.

The location is outstanding. The island has a lot of activities and restaurants right outside the door. The room was very large with a mini kitchen area, balcony, and fireplace. I did feel the price was a bit high but you are paying for the location more than anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were charged twice for our room but they resolved the issue.

We were located in a river view room which was nice, however there were geese in the river making a lot of noise even throughout the night which made it hard to sleep.

Convenience of the location

Walk to the parking lot is a bit tedious , I’m aware of valet parking but doesn’t seem to practical for the ones that like to come an go from the property multiple times a day and having to pay the 10 plus for the self parking is a little crazy not sure why there isn’t a free option. Also another entrance to the self parking would be beneficial, there’s a lot of foot traffic’s at the only entrance not to mention the actual traffic

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at the Margarittaville Island Hotel in Pigeon Forge. The staff are incredibly helpful from the moment you pull up the valet. The valet was kind and welcoming. The front desk staff, especially Zeb was more than helpful and accommodating. He answered any question or request we had and truly helped make our stay memorable. The housekeeping staff as well as the bartenders all have a very welcoming helpful demeanor. The hotel accommodations are amazing and so is all the stuff you can do close by. Just catch an elevator downstairs and you have access to shopping and restaurants. Or you can go to the rooftop pool (kid and mom approved 😁) I recommend getting the one of the cabanas to elevate your pool experience!! Fins is the in hotel restaurant you can order at the pool, your room or eat in downstairs. They have a great bartender (Victor) and the chicken tenders and fries are the best I’ve had anywhere. This place is a “must stay” when coming to Pigeon Forge

Super clean and comfortable rooms and I love that that all the attractions are so close by.

They can have a better parking situation for people who book a hotel stay . We self parked and pretty much you have to go all the way to the end of the parking lot . People who are not staying at the hotel have better parking options. They have a valet lot that i think it’s too expensive after already spending money at the hotel and it’s so small .
