Perfect style room for our family...traveling with 2 kids and a dog. 2 beds downstairs, one upstairs in the loft with bathrooms on each floor. Very clean. Great location and nice spots to walk the dog. Easy access to river walkway behind the hotel and within walking distance of The Island and plenty of other food and shop areas.

I'm 100% satisfied with our stay, but I think this has to do with expectations. I feel like this motel was an excellent value for the money we paid. It was an older motel and some things showed some wear, but it was very clean and taken care of. Breakfast items were provided, but no hot breakfast (this was clear in writing before we booked). Coffee available all day.

Location was great from The Island and easy to find and get to. Parking was good. Equivalent to the hotel rooms from what I can see. Room set up with sink and mirror outside of shower/toilet helps families get ready quicker. We used the stairs but an elevator was available. It was clean, smelled great. Appearance of the space was great and I refuse to complain about stuff the hotel is not in control of- they ate by a busy intersection but wasnt a problem for us. We were there to sleep otherwise, like most, we are off eating, drinking l, sightseeing elsewhere.

The price was fair, the rooms we booked were clean & the location was great.

The staff was horrible all around! From the minute I walked into the lobby to check in, during our stay and checking out and a few times seeing employees around the property, they were all very hateful. At check in, I didn't get a hello, welcome, or anything. I definitely didn't feel valued as a customer. I'd rather pay more somewhere else if this is how this particular hotel operates. I got looked at like I just cursed at them. Customer Service goes a long way. I love less than 2 hours away and come to the area quite often...honestly I don't believe I've ever been treated so badly at any other hotel/cabin rental,etc. My kids even asked me what the staffs problem was.

I loved everything about the location! There is a really nice walking trail that follows the creek right behind the hotel. It is located right in the heart of town, just a few minutes walking distance to the Island. I absolutely loved the jacuzzi that was in my suite! After a long day of walking, it helped relieve the soreness. We didn’t eat breakfast or swim in the pool, which I wish we could have but just didn’t get the chance too. All the pictures I added were just from the parking lot outside of our room.

located close to the island ! Rooms were clean, though they need to be updated. 20 min max walk to the Island. Family was there for a short weekend stay.

Had a few places in the room that needed to be fixed (molding coming off the floor, shower curtain was loose, remote had some difficulty working at times) Nothing was a reason to complain or get another room !

Nice room! The loft made it feel like a mini cabin. You could tell it was an older hotel, however, it was clean. They've done a nice job remodeling. Location is within walking distance to the Island and several other attractions. Convenient location and easy to get in and out of.

With its convenient location, of course, comes traffic. You can hear the traffic from the adjacent highway from hotel room. Also, with the hotel being pet friendly, we could hear a dog barking for most of the night.

After reading other reviews I was concerned but my room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The location is great the view beautiful which.made the stay very enjoyable.. I would recommend this place highly to anyone traveling on a budget

Specifically, the bathroom was not very clean but everything else was great.

The guy at the front desk wasn't rude but wasn't very friendly. Our room was a room with a loft. The beds were clean, and the bathrooms were clean. The only thing that wasn't was that the ceiling fans were covered in dust, and the walls had dust on them. This wasn't that big of a deal, but they could really use a cleaning. Overall, our stay was good.

located right in heart of all of the action yet surprisingly quiet for bed time! I was able to bring my dog and there is an Awesome creek and “greenway” located behind the hotel that she loved! very serene with benches and paved trail. The beds were super comfy and room was impeccably clean. we booked right after Hurricane helene and it was quite a morale boost to have such a nice stay. Def recommend!!!
