Loved everything. From making reservations all the way to check out the experience was amazing. Great price for an amazing room that had more amenities than expected. All staff were professional, friendly and overall great making you feel so welcome. The room was beautiful and huge and had so much room to move around. It was clean and everything including the fireplace and kitchenette made us feel like we were staying in a fancy hotel. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve had. The pool was beautiful and peaceful. S’mores and music at night was perfect. And you can’t beat the location. Snacks and beverages were offered complimentary throughout the day. Just about everything was just a short walk away and even though you’re right off the main strip it was nice and quiet. My family and I loved it here and definitely will be staying here when we come back to Pigeon Forge for our next vacation.

Absolutely nothing

First, I want to say we have stayed several times and each time has been great. The location is perfect. Rooms are amazing and bigger than most. We were there, Easter, and when we got back to our room, they had left Easter bags for the kiddos filled with goodies, so that was a nice surprise for them. Also, Randy goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The kids also did s'more each night at the fire pit, and the live music is a plus. Highly recommend staying here.

We loved everything.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and efficient. I checked in to the hotel in under five minutes. The room was clean, and the towel animals on the bed with chocolate were unexpected. The cleaning staff went above and beyond to make your stay happy. The staff in the lobby kept coffee ready for the guests at all times. My friends and I loved that The Island at Pigeon Forge was within walking distance from the hotel. Also, sitting on the river at night, listening to music from the Island was great. Then when we returned to our room we could hear the sing-along going on at the hotel while eating s'more it was awesome. I am already planning a return trip with my husband and my kids. Along with a girlfriend and her family that was with me on this stay. I can not express how much I enjoy this stay. The only thing is that I will take a box fan to drown out the sound of the birds in the morning next time.

Would like to have a bigger coffee pot for a four person room or an individual k-cup coffee maker in the room. But I will insure to bring mine with me next time. With coffee in the lobby, this was not a deal breaker for me. It's still worth the stay.

Everything

The only thing I didn’t like was the housekeepers would knock on our door and open it, they didn’t give us time to answer it. As soon as they knock the door opens, this happened twice. On our last day, check out is at 11 and they knocked around 9:45 and opened the door. I was standing in front of mirror getting ready and my husband was getting our stuff together. We did not have a do not disturb sign in our room to hang on the door. They need to allow us time to answer the door before coming on in. I wasn’t to happy about that. Everything else was great!!

Location was great! We could walk to so much. Excellent hospitality! Front desk was welcoming and helpful. You could tell they had upgraded and refurbished in recent years and it was done do well. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Extra touches like towel animals were nice. Full time coffee, hit chocolate & snacks in lobby and nightly campfire. We let them know we were celebrating a birthday and they had a cake in the room on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

The only negative was that the sink area was so small. It’s combined with the fridge, coffee & microwave area and all of that in a tight space.

A lot of accommodations for kids. Value was good. It is a motel style facility, so not a 5 star hotel but it had a lot for the group we travel with.( high school softball team) Fishing poles for the river behind the facility. Heated pool with toys, hot tub, s’mores for the outdoor fire. Donuts, coffee, hot chocolate, and hot cider in the office. You can also walk to the Island.

It could have been cleaner around the facility. The couch and chair in our room was a little dirty. Hair left in the tub.

The location was great. Nothing that we wanted to do was a far drive or walk. Our kids couldn't get enough of the heated pool. The staff was really friendly and considerate, even calling while we were out to check if we needed room servicing instead of just entering the room. The reading corners on each floor were really cool as well.

Parking at times was a little tedious, but nothing crazy. The shower head in one of our rooms was a bit dirty, and one of the bed liners was stained up on the bottom.

It was nice, it was pretty. It was peaceful. I could have used more light trying to put on makeup. Cause it was kind of dark in that area, but I only mention that Because older people have a harder time seeing things.But most of all, That was my first time there and it will not be my last time there Lord willing!

Needed more lighting and a handheld wand in shower because the top alone in the shower makes it impossible for just a shower without washing my hair every time in the shower.

Comfortable beds, alot of extra amenities like free donuts, coffee, lemonade, etc, free pancake breakfast, location, very friendly and helpful staff, arcade games and more for kids. They had smores and a singer on some nights but we didn't do that because of other events we went to.

Jacuzzi tub / shower combo was hard to step into, didn't care for the bowl sinks, floors needed mopping because our feet got dirty when walking barefoot. Could use soap dishes so soap wouldn't melt all over the sink counter and tub area.

The breakfast that is offerred is a must. You get a voucher for Reagan Pancake house across the parkway. You can either get a stack of pancakes and a drink for free or the buffett for $5.99 and only soft drink and tea is inclulded. Juices you pay extra. But we had a voucher for 3 days and every day we ordered the same thing and everyday the amount was different. So make sure you check. The location is amazing. We were able to walk to The Island, Comedy Barn, Pirates Theatre and as far as Three Bears. Completely worth it for this.

Our rooms were directly outside the elevators. There was a little league baseball team that played in them for a while which made waiting a bother. We were on the 4th floor. The TV volume would not go above a certain level. My husband is deaf in one ear and made it difficult with the air conditioner on also. We left on Thursday and Wednesday nite a group of bikers checked in. They were a little rowdy into the nite and the next morning they were reving up engines to head out on a run. They had traffic backed up in the parking lot and we could not get out until they left.
