I stayed for 3 nights and loved every second. This was my first time traveling solo, and this hostel was absolutely perfect for me. The location is amazing, and the cleaning staff did a great job keeping everything tidy. What I loved the most, however, was the staff! They are such wonderful people and, in my experience, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as enjoyable as possible even when I didn’t have any plans. They organize daily walking tours, family dinners, indoor games, and night outings. They genuinely make an effort to ensure everyone is having a great time. For me, it was definitely worth the money. Special shoutout to Squid and all the other team members!

the bathrooms are a little too small

Onefam Hostel in London is an incredibly cosy place. It’s perfect for solo travellers looking to make great friends. I had the opportunity to visit twice, and each time, I was treated exceptionally well. "Onefam" truly feels like a big family. If you're staying at this hostel, your days in London will be filled with happiness and lots of laughter. It’s a magical place. However, there’s one thing you should know... no matter how many days you stay, you’ll never want to leave. Thank you, Onefam (and the wonderful team), for giving me two perfect stays.

The location is amazing: it's a 15min walk from the Big Ben and it's perfectly connected with the whole city. I walked through the city, using very little public transportation, and I was really comfortable with the location of the hostel. Another advantage is that from there you just have to take the bus line 344 to get to Liverpool Street Station and take the train to London Stansted Airport. The facilities were all well-furnished, clean and ready-to-use. Particularly, the showers are really good and private, so don't worry about them! The people and the staff there were always nice and gentle, and very respectful at night hours. Really outstanding value.

I was unlucky: after my third day I found two bathrooms out-of-order. It wasn't really a problem because there are other bathrooms of course, but that's the only thing that didn't go smoothly as expected.

In my many, many years of travelling solo in hostels, I have never been felt more welcome and safe than I did at OneFam. This hostel has everything you could possibly want and need and more. Daily walking tours, going from the royal monuments to the infamous Notting Hill filming locations, free (and delicious) vegetarian dinners daily, clean commodities and a true accessibility from a very respectful and friendly staff. There’s a wristband system in place so the hostel stays safe, and a group chat with daily updates and contacts in case you need to reach anyone. As an introvert, I was a bit scared about the party side of things, but as it turns out, the rooms are well isolated and the parties happen mainly in nearby pubs and bars so if that’s not your scene, don’t let that stop you from staying at OneFam cause you won’t be bothered at all. Commodity wise, there are several bathrooms and showers across the different floors and everything is kept very clean. There are plenty of lockers in the rooms, a common kitchen with everything you need to cook and store your food, and a common living room where you may end up watching movies or playing Mario Kart. There’s also a luggage room available on demand so you can store your bags before your check in or after your check out. All in all, OneFam lives by its name and makes you feel at home no matter where you’re from and I will very happily be back soon! Huge huge thank you to Jack and Made and Ursina and Connie and Chelsea and everyone else I may be forgetting. You made this experience even better than it already was!

The staff were so welcoming. Coming off a big flight from Australia I felt so comfortable and felt like I fitted straight in. Met so many amazing friends, day trips every day, pub crawls every night. Massive shout out to Squid, a fellow Aussie who was the first person I spoke to after I landed and he genuinely was the coolest guy I’ve met. Such a legend. Could not recommend this place more.

A great location, great facilities, free veggie dinner every night, and a walking tour during the day, plus a drinking game/night out every evening! I was solo traveling through Europe for a month, and Onefam Waterloo was definitely one of the highlights of my stay in England. I loved the adventurers I got to meet and the memories we made together during my time at the hostel. And of course, a big shout-out to the lovely staff members at Onefam Waterloo: Hector🇲🇽, Elize🇦🇺, Neus🇪🇸, Reilly🌎, Justin🇦🇺, and Shanice🌎. Thank you so much for being welcoming, reliable, and so much fun! I will cherish the time spent with you all for a long time. You guys are exceptional, and I truly wish your experiences at Onefam lead you to where you want to be in the future.

That I could not stay longer!!

Third time's the charm, they say, and it couldn't be truer for my stay here. Once again, this place has exceeded my expectations. The familiar comfort feels like a second home now, and the staff continue to amaze me with their genuine warmth and attentiveness. Every single one of them, from the front desk to housekeeping, deserves a shout-out for their exceptional service. It's the little things that make a big difference, and they truly go above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The rooms remain impeccably clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is simply inviting. Of course, I can't forget to mention the wonderful people I've met during my stay – it's always a pleasure to connect with fellow travelers in such a welcoming environment. I can't wait to return for a fourth time!

The same....i didn’t like to leave this place.

The incredible staff curates an inclusive energetic environment that makes it easy as a solo traveler to make connections and lifelong friends. They offer city tours, daytime activities, pub crawls, nights out, and free dinner - which as a solo traveler balling on a budget really appreciates. They also give incredible recommendations for food and activities. The common areas are really cute and fun to chill in and meet other guests and staff. Everything was super clean and the staff is so helpful.

The staff - specifically Isaac, Ian, and Rachel went out of their way to create an incredible environment that was life changing. I fell in love with OneFam because of them and I will continue to stay in OneFams across the world!
