The lobby and common areas were modern and well appointed. Our two bedroom suite, one with an ensuite toilet, looked recently decorated and was faultless. The property is well placed for all attractions, in the heart of the city and short walk from the harbour/shopping areas. All in all, we very much enjoyed our one night stay.

In common with other places we stayed in NZ, the a/c unit was in the lounge and not the bedrooms. The reception staff could have been more welcoming and accommodating. I was a little disappointed to find out that parking was in an offsite garage (not far away), although several people seemed to leave their cars by the entrance.

Having stayed at Citylife before many times I love the apartment style accommodation for my family. The kitchen is user friendly. The rooms are good. Beds comfortable. Location is superb and so easy to get around Wellington. Having a washer and dryer in the apartments are awesome for a family! Perhaps from a sales point of view your staff could also upsell the 2 bedroom with 2 bathrooms to customers who are willing and wanting to pay a bit more at check in for the convenience of having 2 bathrooms.

Front desk staff. Your previous staff were upbeat, knowledgeable, caring and went out of their way to make things happen. My experience with current staff during our stay was that they were just doing their job and a customer experience was missing. These front desk staff are your Brand!

Central location. Down at ground level, close to countdown other restaurants nearby (McDonald's, Subway, Chinese & Japanese restaurant) all within walking distance, wonderful location! Loved the big apartment especially the washing machine & dryer. Room was beautifully serviced when we came back to our room. Another tv in one bedroom, handy for kids. Good old Nickelodeon channels for kids, Sky movie channels. We had excellent reception using the unlimited wi-fi! Where reception is, is level 6 at an entrance road from a back street. Narrow but manageable drive into the City life entrance. Onsite parking complex (cost involved) is about a 50m walk, need to park cautiously as narrow but this is Wellington so we are quite used to the roads here being narrow, steep and windy. There's a few diagonal parking spaces at the front of Reception, we were very fortunate to find a parking space when we needed to load and unload kids from the car. Reception always helpful and very approachable, thank you!

This is an excellent location. Our room was spacious, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We needed a second portacot at short notice and this was delivered promptly once requested.

The heat pump stopped working on both days however this was quickly remedied once staff informed. There was also a second heating option available. The overnight parking option is some distance from reception. The drop-off area was full when we arrived which was stressful. There isn't clear signage of where to go. The drop-off parking is also very tight.

The most comfortable beds EVER, and the location was smack bang in the middle of the city so perfect for walking almost everywhere. Very spacious 2 bedroom suite for a family. We were asked on check in if we wanted a lighter room but more noisy, or dark and quiet. We chose light and loved it. Some people may find the street noise a problem but we certainly didn't, and certainly appreciated being given the option.

This is not really something that I didn't like but was a little challenging, and that was the parking area at check in and the actual hotel parking. All extremely convenient but very tight and took some manoeuvring but not really a complaint, just city living.

Very central. Within walking distance to most attractions. Room was very clean and staff were very tentative and helpful. The washing machine and clothes dryer were a big plus for our family of 5.

The curtains in the main bedroom were too short for the window. As someone who does not sleep well in a room with light, this meant for a bad first night sleep and had to purchase a sleep mask for the remainder of our stay. Daily house cleaning is carried out quiet late in the day, like after 4pm

Great compact city room with kitchenette and hobbs. Slept like babies, not often you stay in the city and don't hear it. Very quiet, black out curtains and comfortable bed and bedding was wonderful. Stayed 3 nights and thought it was perfect for a city stay. Down the lifts and directly onto Lambton Quay was perfect for access to central city, we walked for shopping, restaurants, Te Papa, Waterfront, TSB Centre. Countdown city store on Lambton Quay was an easy few doors from the hotel entrance.

Access to hotel via car and carpark building space is tight, leave the car at home if you can or drop and leave parked for your time in the city. Room was quite warm and no opening windows, we slept with air conditioner on cool to keep comfortable.

The room was spotless, well appointed, affordable and very centrally located to walk to the cable car or shop in Wellington.

The staff member who checked us in was disinterested and a little smart with her attitude. The description for the hotel said that parking was on a first come first served basis. We got a park at the front of the hotel and as we checked in had another two spots available but were told we could not park on site but had to park in a commercial car park nearby, arranged by the hotel for $33 a night.

Loved the location. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was super comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great quality for the price.

The bed was on wheels which makes sense for easy moving when making the bed but it slid around very easily as it didn't have brakes and became a little annoying. We were able to put something under the wheels to stop it from moving so it wasn't too bad and definitely didn't put a damper on our stay. We loved the hotel.

The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. We were upgraded to a 2 bathroom apartment but I'd rather have had our bedding configured correctly! Great location.

Emailed the day prior to organise bedding arrangements. Never got a reply. Ended up with 2 queen beds. Not ideal. Was not told about parking costs until we checked out. Was told i signed for it, I signed nothing. $31 a day is rip off over the weekend. I was told parking is $8 a day over the weekend in other parking lots. Not offered any discount or reparation. Room Cleaning average effort. No clean cup replacements.
