Great location, especially for visiting the Cable Car and Botanic Gardens. I was able to walk everywhere. The room was clean and comfortable and had basic kitchen items (fridge, microwave, utensils, mugs, etc.)

FYI, the room was quite small - it was manageable for me as one person, but it might have been too tight for two people. For example, the only place in the room where you could unfold a suitcase was along the side of the bed, which wouldn't work if someone else was sleeping on that side! If the hotel removed some extraneous furniture (like the comfy chair in the corner or the desk), it would be a better fit for two people.

After parking mess, Housekeeping staff visited around 2pm every day offering to replenish supplies & towelling. Was at friend's one night & came back to room totally made up. I felt looked after. Washer & dryer available & appreciated. Easy lift to 3rd floor, The Terrace or Ground Floor, Lambton Quay & its bus stop, feel safer using bus stop at early morn/night.

Had 2 turn shower head 2 the wall or else water pooled up to the toilet so you'd have wet feet when using it. Sloped shower floor might have helped, bad design. Special Request for a car park, received message saying YES then another after, saying only available for half of my stay. When I got there, they said I hadn't "confirmed" (isn't that what a Request is for?) & gave my park away so I only used their car park ONCE out of the 4 nights I stayed. Luckily their suggested Clifton car park was cheaper & 170m away. A bit too much 'Mental Admin' to figure out on holiday.

Quiet, comfortable and clean in a great location. Comfortable beds and great showers. The kitchen was well-equipped and very well laid out. With the central location, it was very easy to get to and from the airport and to explore Wellington by foot and by public transport. All the reception staff were friendly and helpful.

We would have liked some table lamps in the living area and/or possible combinations for the ceiling lights: it was all on or nothing! It was also a bit disconcerting that both tumble-driers in the laundry room next to our room (on the 5th floor) had "lint filter" warnings, as this is a well-known fire hazard. I did report this but it was resolved by the time we checked-out.

First time here, I got a "secret deal" through this site so I'm not sure if you'll pay the same rate I did, but it was good enough value to try it. The room was a decently large size, the bathroom is quite large also, and well separated. Good little kitchenette with microwave and lots of cutlery etc. The TV has the free and some pay channels - this seems to be getting rarer in the era of BYO streaming services only, so it's a nice touch. My favourite thing though is the light insulation - the curtains shut right to the edge, the only standby light is on the TV, which can be turned off at the wall, and no light leaks under the doorway. It's also a very quiet room, I never heard any of the other room guests.

The room was unusually warm, it might be ideal in the middle of winter, but I found myself having to open a window at night. There's a heater, but no AC (or at least there didn't appear to be any control for it in my room).

The location is great, and accommodation was comfortable.

There's a lack of car park for hotel guest (just three), and the parking suggested is a bit of a walk up hill, and the parking rates restart upon each exit. There doesn't seem to be a service lift, and we encountered a lot of the cleaning staff and one of the lifts ended up smelling like vomit! It'd also be nicer if there was an extra bathroom, and if the shower head was changed into an hand shower head (which would be easier to bathe and shower young children). We also prefer handwash more than the soap bars provided.

It was good that there was a rear entrance down to Willis st, although the staff never informed me, I found by accident. The bus stop was only a few metre away on both sides of the road. It is the main Lambton Quay bus stop for the airport bus also. The hotel was very quiet, no reception waiting area of note. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with a range of pillows. Would have loved an armchair or table and chairs. The bathroom shower is enormous and could do with an internal handrail. Also, an extra towel rail. Sadly, no drain plug in wash basin and one blind in the bedroom needed re stringing. Kitchenette is minimalistic, but ok for short stays. My only real complaint was that I asked for a quiet room up high and was told I had one. But was only on the 6th, floor, which actually is only the 3rd floor from the hotel's front entrance on Terrace road. This put me right above the exhaust pumps of next door's roof. With single glazed windows, and even a crack, if a window is open, the hum is very audible.

Very friendly upgraded us when we asked to fix the blind and it would take longer so he gave us options a new room or they could fix the blind later. So i asked for a new room and with a seaview please and they did. Very accommodating and didn't charge us extra. Staff were very helpful, friendly and professional.

The kettle would randomly start on automatically and we tried to turn it off and only turn it on when we were ready for a cuppa but it didn't so we would reheat hot drinks in the microwave. A prewarn note to let us know about the kettle would have helped. Never had a kettle that had a mind of its own 😆

Great location in the middle of the city and within 20 minutes walk of many attractions. The kitchenette was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious and everything was clean and modern. Wardrobe provided for our clothes. Room serviced daily. Great for a 3 night stay.

Very small bathroom sink for not enough space for toiletries for 2 people. Only way to have a shower is to climb into an extremely high bath which is very slippery. Very unsafe! Need to provide a non slip mat or better still, remove the bath to make the bathroom less cramped. A couple of items were missing from the apartment - a second desert spoon and the plug for the usb bedside lamp. Also, another chair to sit at the desk would be good as it was hard balancing dinner on our laps on the armchairs. We overlooked a carpark which was very brightly lit at night, and was not completely blocked out by the blinds. Not recommended for those who need a dark room to sleep.

Great space, very liveable for my stay. Room and bathroom size were really good. Kitchenette did the job

Being next to the Landry room was noticeably loud, people would use it pass 10pm which I felt was still a bit late and it would sound like someone was at my door till they were done. I would have preferred a different location of the room for the length of time I was there. Two single beds pushed together isn’t very comfortable and no space really to put away clothes. All these things are okay for a couple nights but I was there for 12

Great location with one exit to Lambton Key and another to The Terrace. Reception helpful and room was clean. Had the facilities you would expect. I especially liked the spaciousness of the room - there was plenty of room for 2 people to sit at the coffee table away from the bed - unusual in central Wellington. There was also a roomy area by reception with a large table and stools and also a couch and chairs. We met a family member and needed to distance for health reasons and it was easy to achieve there.

There's no valet service to help with bags or room service/ability to get food at the hotel and that end of Lambton Quay and The Terrace is pretty closed on the weekend. Managed to find a coffee on Sunday morning at the chocolate shop down the road! Having said that it is excellent value for money.
