I had a good stay overall. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and neat. Housekeeping did a great job—towels were changed and the bathroom was cleaned daily, which I really appreciated. The location is very convenient, close to the city centre.

I arrived after hours, and it was easy to find the key and get into the room, which was great. However, there were no instructions or notes about where to park the car, and it took me almost half an hour to find a spot. Unfortunately, I ended up parking in the wrong car park. One thing to note is that the room didn’t have air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable during warmer days.

Great location in centre of Wellington. I dropped our luggage off on arrival and then dropped rental car off as we did not need car in Wellington so the parking issue did not affect me. The room was spotless, a good size with great facilities. It was brilliant having a washing machine and drier in the room. Therre was a very good restaurant at the top of the hill near the hotel The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and we were able to use the drop box to check out early The receptionist was very helpful answering all my questions and the short cut she showed us to get to the city centre was superb

Location location location, follow the reception instructions to use the neighbouring parkade elevator down the Lambton. Room was small but well appointed, loveseat, kitchenette, press coffee, big TV, comfy bed, bathroom ok size. Super clean, perhaps recently renovated. Plush carpet great after a long day walking Wellington. washer/dryer was a total bonus, typical European style, takes hours to dry, but works. Check out Boulcutt Bistro 100 meters away!

Room was small and while it had black out blinds it's surrounded by parkades that leave their lights on all night. Loud and bright. Garbage trucks at 2am daily.

Location in central city. Although tucked away off the main streets, the easy to follow printed instructions on the shortcut for walking to Lambourne Quay road was fantastic. Short & easy walk to airport express bus stop. Staff at front desk welcoming and helpful. Room was well set out and spacious with bedroom and separate sitting area and kitchenette area. Furniture in good condition - have stayed in other accommodation during my trip where lounge chairs needed a good clean, not so here, furniture was all in good condition Appreciated the small milks in the fridge; many thanks. Comfortable bed, good shower, great having Netflix. Room very clean. Cheers 👍

Couldn't fault the room

Nice clean facilities, comfortable bed. Room was equipped with everything we needed. Perfect location, quiet and right in the city centre. Handy shortcut to Lambton Quay. Everywhere we wanted to go was easy to access on foot. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Although the apartment was nice and clean, there were some minor signs of tear and wear (some water damage in the kitchen, armchairs upholstery faded) that could have been nicer if it had been repaired / replaced. Outlook from the windows was to the nearby parking buildings, not letting in much daylight in the room during the day and found it difficult to block out the all-night light from the parking building at night.

Accommodation: just like a small apartment. Has cooking facilities, a washing/drier machine is available (Gilmer Apartment even supply the washing powder). Comfortable bed and apartment serviced daily. Clean and very quiet at night. Stayed 4 nights. Location was excellent. Great access to shops, restaurant's / cafes included a supermarket. Ask Gilmer staff about the shortcut via carpark lift to Willis Street. Easy walking distance to Te Papa Museum and Wellington Maritime Musuem, free admission to both. A must do is a ride on the Wellington Cable Car, at the top the view of Wellington is fantastic, and you are able to catch a free shuttle to Zealandia (fully fenced urban ecosanctuary).

The property has a good location, shortcut to the main shopping streets but away from the street noises. However, there had been construction noises and noises from the opposite parking building in the early morning. We managed to sleep though. We booked a King apartment w HK services. Bed was comfy and the smart TV allowed us to watch our home channels. Kitchenette had everything needed for a short stay. No dishwasher or oven though.

The ventilation fan inside the bathroom was unbearably noisy and disturbing @@ We ended up having shower in the dark because turning on the light in the bathroom entails the noise from the fan. Attitude of the housekeepers should really be improved.

Staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, they gave us great tips on where to dine, what to see / do and the easiest way to get there. That level of service was unexpected but appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking was a breeze (but book in advance - cost is $25 / night which is great for the heart of the CBD!). Room was ample size, beds was extra comfy and the in room washer / dryer was again unexpected but super convenient travelling with kids in winter!

The door to our room was really difficult to push and pull open and I had to push (and pull) hard on it to get it open (the kids, boys aged 12 & 11 struggled to open it without my help!) so for me, this was a safety concern if there was a need to get into or out of our room in a hurry.

Parking was $25 per night which had not been seen in research prior to booking.
