The room was great for what we needed. The bed was easily the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a year and better than any other hotel I've had in a while. Similarly, the bedding/manchester was perfect with pillows that were exquisite. The room also had a lot of power sockets, which was wonderful. Usually when we go to a hotel there's only 1-2 plugs for charging our own devices, but here we had plenty of options, which was perfect. The shower had great pressure and temperature, with its own hot water cylinder for the room.

The kitchen could have improved with a little more variety. There was only 1 flavour of tea and limited numbers of items provided. A peppermint tea would have been ideal, but this was not a dealbreaker.

The girl on reception was very kind, friendly & helpful. At the time of booking, we did not know that parking had to be reserved but she sorted this for us. The property was in easy walking distance to the shops & Wellington cable car. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and was good value for price paid. It was nice to have a full cooker as most places just have a microwave & stove top. Great to have a washing machine!

Although we were warned about the step in the apartment, it was very easy to miss it. There should have been some sort of highlight across it as there was in the corridor. We managed to get washing done but drier would not work properly. As a result, we had to take damp things away with us the following day. Instructions in folder were for a different make of machine.

Wen Wen is an asset to The Quest. Our initial check-in room on level 7 had a few issues, but from staff member WEN WEN's professionalism, prompt response, and friendly personality, she sorted everything out to perfection the very next morning for us. We appreciate her hard work and acknowledge her outstanding performance in handling our issues. Awesome job!! WEN WEN, all the other staff we came into contact with were all very friendly too. We will definitely return when we are in Wellington again, we hope you keep WEN WEN she is a SuperStar!!!

The location was convenient for shops, restaurants and my work. The staff were very helpful and accommodated all our needs including holding our luggage safe into the evening of our checkout day. The apartment was adequately equipped and the daily service was good, restocking essentials. Adequate space for our needs. Little view of sea. It seemed good value for city location.

Some road noise and activity noise from street below as single glazed windows, but inevitable due to location. Not a big deal, but would have preferred a second bedside cabinet to the oversized armchair.

Good central location. Good value for the price. They were happy to store our luggage when we arrived before check in time.

The carpark. We had a small car but the ramp was steep and very tight for turning. Extremely difficult to park the car. When I complained they did move us to a larger ground floor parking space. After we arrived we learnt via a notice under the door that the room would not be serviced on 25 and 26 December. This did not present a problem for us but should have been told on check in.

Our two bedroom apartment was very central to the centre of Wellington which allowed us to explore on foot or by cable car. There was a close by lift to get us down to Lambton Quay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Having a kitchen was useful and if we’d needed to wash clothes it was good to have a washing machine.

Apartment was quite small and felt a bit cramped for three people. Is also a bit old and tired. Only two towels for three people. One bed sloped a bit so was not the most comfortable.

I recently stayed at this hotel during my first solo trip and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite arriving much earlier than the standard check-in time, they were able to check me in early, which was immensely helpful and greatly appreciated. The location of the hotel is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. My room was well-equipped with everything I needed, adding to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and convenience.

However, my room was on the first floor, and I was bothered by an unpleasant smell in the hallway. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and convenience, but I hope they can address the hallway odor issue.

No air conditioner, which usually wouldn't be a problem in Wellington, bot the week was really hot. There was a fan but it wasn't able to be operated without a remote and that wasn't available when I checked in. However, I talked to staff the next day and they promptly sorted it out for me. It was hard getting it into the sleeping space, but doable!

Location was right in the middle of the city with easy access to everything. Room was clean and comfortable, was quiet facing the street (not sure about the rooms facing the motorway), bathroom and bed was clean. Staff on front desk were able to help out with access to the off-site fitness centre and a swimming pool.

Room layout was a little weird, off-site fitness centre and swimming pool was just down the street but a little inconvenient. Location on top of the hill a little annoying, but was able to cut through shopping centre across the street to avoid climbing the stairs.

Good location. Could walk to where we wanted to visit and taxis weren't expensive from ferry terminal. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The apartment had a good layout making the most of a small space. It was a comfortable space to relax in between activities. Bed was very comfortable and shower pressure really good. Also there is a convenience store right next door and another just a minutes walk. The whole apartment was lovely and clean, the cleaners do an excellent job.

The layout of shower was a bit funny. It was small and triangle which was fine but from where the showerhead was the large pumps of body wash and shampoo were kind of in the way a bit. Not a big deal still a good shower in all and very clean
