This place was a great location for ease of access to ferry in the morning. Comfy bed, nice meals available in house as well as a good selection on the stretch of road surrounding it. Close to Botanic Gardens and bus service. I think it would be a wonderful base for a few days break in Wellington. Not flashy, some might even think it was a little dated, but we felt it was brilliant and fairly priced. Spotlessly clean and friendly. Highly, highly recommended.

Great location, with the pub downstairs and the Botanical Gardens just up the road. Very expensive to get there $50 taxi ride from the ferry. My second night was not so nice, I think booking.com ripped me off - same price but because I said I was single I got a tiny room with no bathroom. At 76 years old a bathroom is an asset!

The kindness of the receptionist, very helpful. I did call for a late check-out around 10 PM : everything was arranged and waited for me. I also was allowed to let my van parked the morning after and even got access to my room at midday after a run. Thank you 🙏🏼 The hotel is a bit “vintage” 😉 but has everything needed : bathroom and a good bed. It was well cleaned Good location and a parking 👌🏻

Location was walking distance to City Centre and many other attractions nearby. The food and service at the hotel was a delight.

The shared ablution facilities (it was clearly mentioned in the property description but I don’t really like shared ablutions). The facilities were, however, always in a very clean condition at all times!

Very spacious room with lots of windows and natural light and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Calm street at night and just perfect for a morning stroll to the hills in the back or the botanical garden. Very friendly staff.

A bit worn down but it kinda gives some really cool vintage vibes. Especially in the bathroom. I liked it very much.

The fact it was above a pub and only 6 minutes from the city staff were excellent food was good with large serving

The gusts laundry was bad washing machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages one dryer had a sezid drum and the other needed to be spun by hand a couple of times before it worked

We came after hours and initially couldn't find entrance, the main entrance was to the bar which was closed and the hotel actually has side entrance. It could have been marked better.

Comfy queen bed very powerful shower with 2 roses! Great parking. Great pub

Shower a bit skody needs reno. A power point was very loose looked dodgy! Single bed lumpy

Location was perfect for the early morning start to the ferry terminal. Loved that the pub was downstairs for an accessible meal and drink and the parking was super easy!

Bathroom floor cleanliness could have been a little better.

Friendly, helpful people. Very useful location easy to find, to park. Very nice bar and restaurant - really enjoyed dinner. Tinakore Rd is classic Wellington.
