Location is Excellent could not be better. very comfortable.

No toiletries in the bathroom at all. Apart from in shower. House keeping oversight ?? Checking in late in the evening I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience to the duty manager. Also checking out early in the morning felt exactly the same with the same duty manager. Left the counter on both occasions thinking there are some people that simply should not be in customer service roles. Maybe that's why this person is on night shift, To limit customer interaction. I would of given 10/10 if not for customer service.

Nice interior and art work. Great location if you stay there for a night before your flight, not that great for longer stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable the view from our room was the tarmac

There was no variety for breakfast no veggies with the eggs and bacon, only one type of juice had to ask to fill up, milk runs out. We traveled for a longer period this was the last hotel we stayed in we couldn’t even look at scrambled eggs. The sausage was ordinary, I like mushrooms but the ones there were soaked in water not appetising at all. Expected more from Rydges. We stayed in a number of hotels in comparison the breakfast in Rydges wasn’t great. Car parking is not bad once you find the way into their car parking area. Not enough signage when you arrive and are not familiar with the place. You need a car if you stay there longer otherwise hard to get around.

Close proximity to the flights. Comfortable beds.

I have stayed on a number of occasions now. This last time, our room had a portable cot. We are in our seventies so don't require one, and the rooms are not large. No reason to leave it there. On another occasion we were given the special needs room. Again not required. I always book well in advance do it can't be that at short notice that was all that was available. I feel that the hotel doesn't appear to know who are return clients.

Cleared customs at 1.30 am on Wednesday morning and it was a great relief to see the smiling face of the night receptionist at Rydges with its simple lift access from the airport arrival lounge. Transferred to room, large inviting bed with cases still on luggage cart and slept the sleep of the exhausted. Simple checkout the next morning and headed home to Waikanae. Rydges is a lifesafer for early morning departures and late arrivals, especially when customs and agriculture take an hour and a half after a three-hour flight from Sydney which arrives on midnight.

- Very comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. For example, I left my coat in the wardrobe when I checked out, but they were prompt in recovering it, and polite, even though I could detect it annoyed them a little. - Nice to be able to see planes taking off and landing from our rooms and from the hallway window. - A high quality and convenient restaurant and bar.

A minor point, but after the bar separate bar closed, the bar in the restaurant took over serving its menu, but the process of requesting that menu was unclear. We had to ask about four staff before we were seated in the right part of the restaurant near the bar, and then to get the right menu. It was confusing, but it was resolved.

Roomwas nice and comfortable and very quiet

1. Misinformation- was told when I rang that room service was available until 10pm. We got there and were checking in about 9.20 pm and were told that both the restaurant and room service was closed. Very disappointing as we had travelled and were quite hungry 2. Parking service people told us we would receive free parking as we had a booking for a room and flight early next morning, yet when we checked out and validated our parking ticket we were told we had to pay.

So convenient to use the airport hotel when in Wellington for such a short time, or if arriving or departing at unsocial hours. Landed at airport after midnight, and by the time had cleared customs it was after 1AM. So good to just walk a few meters to ones bed. Stayed again on our departure night as the flight home was at 0600 - meaning 0400 at the checkin. Again so much easier. Given the reasonable price for the room, that was money well spent. Room was a decent size and clean and comfy. Some rooms have views over the airpot, some views over the sound coast (much nicer). Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment. There is a reasonable gym. The airport undercover carpark is also conveniently close, and the hotel offers a highly discounted rate.

Nothing really

The location was perfect for an early morning flight as hotel is in the terminal and easy to find. My flight arrived after midnight and I had to leave at 6.30 am.

The receptionist wasn't very welcoming but I guess she was on the night shift so maybe was a little tired. It wasn't explained where the power card was located and I had to go back down and ask. Felt a little silly but a quick briefing at check in would have helped. The bathroom is nice as is the room itself but the shower needs a drainage hole as water seeps out under the shower screen door.

The accommodation was great, the pillows and bed were top notch. I would love some of those pillows for myself at home. The portacots were set up for my girls so neatly and they slept so well. The room was able to be pitch black which was amazing for removing the daylight and allowing us to sleep soundly. The location and access to the airport was phenomenal, we have always travelled very early to the airport but being so close was just amazing! The only thing that would make this accommodation better would be some place to swim. A small heated pool would be great and add a touch more family friendly-ness as we didn’t really know what to do with two toddlers other than stay in our room.

More family friendly spaces.

Great staff. Really helpful. Clean, modern, comfortable. VERY CONVENIENT for the airport. We booked it to save the family all getting up at stupid o'clock to drop us off for our 6am flight. We would book it again, bearing in mind one or two things and adjusting what we do.

Because our flight was at 6am we were too early for the breakfast service which didn't start until 6.30. There was no alternative offered in such circumstances. We would have liked to get a drink at the bar before bed, but it shuts quite early. We went for dinner elsewhere, and it had shut as we got back. There's a charge after 10 minutes for the car if someone is dropping you off. So it would be expensive if they wanted to join you there for dinner. Sliding scale of cost for parking.
