Opposite the hospital was great for visiting a patient. Very comfortable bed. Although near a busy road it did feel peaceful when inside with door closed Helicopters landing on the helipad at the hospital were very loud for a short time - and quite fun to watch. The kitchen was very good with a sink, fridge, stove top etc. we provided most of our own meals. Very helpful staff - friendly and willing to help. I liked the stairs for exercise - initially I puffed but it got easier.

It's my 2nd time staying here while needing to support my partner in hospital and The Ascot is so handy! It's straight across the road from the hospital, free parking, unlimited wifi, comfy beds, just perfect a decent comfortable sleep after an exhausting day/night/week at the hospital. Originally I had booked for 2nights, extended for another 2nights, and then was lucky a cancelation came up and I could extend my stay for an extra 3nights with no hassle. I highly recommend staying here if you are needing to be at the hospital, even just for a nice cheap stay in Wellington I would definitely consider coming back here everytime I visit Wellington

we booked this accommodation last minute after a disaster in a previously booked accommodation. This place was not much more in cost and far exceeded the previous place in all aspects - Ascot was welcoming, clean, tidy, warm and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised for the price.

The only fault was that the hairdryer didn't work but that really wasn't a major issue as it wasn't essential for me and the guy at front desk was really nice ... I am sure would have found me a working hairdryer had i really needed it.

Breakfast wasn't included or required Location to the hospital was perfect for me. Facilities are simple but clean and maintained. For the price per night it was definitely value for money Close walking dist. to large supermarket

Perhaps the road noise but it really wasn't an issue Nothing really as it fitted what I needed as i was only visiting my Son in ICU across the road.

The staff were so accommodating and friendly, nothing was a problem. The beds were comfy, and the place was clean and tidy. I liked the vicinity to the hospital and supermarket as it made life easier in a stressful time not having to worry about parking.

Helicopters landing at the hospital are so loud, but it's necessary, so I just got over it. I was also told not to walk around the streets at night as they are not safe.

Everything was clean, tidy and comfortable. Great location close to the hospital (while husband had minor surgery) staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. I only booked for one night because I didn’t know how many nights I would need to stay. They were very accommodating day by day. Able to leave car parked there until my husband was discharged which was great saved on parking at the hospital.

I had a fantastic stay at Ascot Motor Lodge! The location is super convenient, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area—I'll definitely stay here again!

Great location, with allocated parking for each room. The room was super clean with all the facilities we required for a great stay. My child and I will definitely look to stay again in the future.

The full price for the room was charged upon booking despite the booking.com page stating no prepayment was required. The staff responded to my query about this in a factual and friendly manner, so it wasn't really a thing to dislike. More to potentially ask a few questions before booking in future. I would stay here again as the pros of the accommodation definitely made up for this.

Free parking close to Wellington is a bonus. Nice unit. Tidy and clean. Late check-in was very easy as was communication with the reception, etc. Sky sports, etc. Very convenient if you are visiting the hospital but close to most things.

Very soft bed. Being next to the hospital, we had several helicopters land during the night. They were so loud that the windows shook!
