The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. We liked that it overlooked the main road, it was a nice view! Your staff was lovely and accommodating, even when they were so busy, as a bus load of people arrived right as we did. We were there for the Van Morrision event, and the food, drink offerings, the venue and of course Van himself were all spectacular!

I was sad that you no longer have the duckies that were always in the room every time I have stayed at a Hastings Hotel (I have 3 times previous to this stay at Europa). This is a small thing, but was always a little thing to look forward to! One thing that I definitely did not like was the height of the bathtub. I am fairly short, 5'4", but normally have no trouble stepping into a tub. This one, combined with it not having a bar of any kind to hold onto made it slippery and a little tricky to navigate getting out of. Adding a grab bar would be very helpful.

Location, standard of rooms and very comfortable pillows!

Nothing apart from the poor welcome we received when we returned to the hotel at midnight after a wedding reception. The gentleman at the door blanked us and didn’t speak or welcome us into the beautiful hotel or ask anything about our evening. To me Belfast is all about our warmth and kindness and this was very much not displayed when we entered. No smile - nothing back. Luckily I am a local and have been for 55 years but I was very embarrassed with the welcome as my friend us up from Dublin. This was such a let down as earlier in the evening Gerrard was the complete opposite and a true gentleman ordering our taxi. Europa I hope this can be looked into. Thank you

Europa staff very helpful in accommodating us for an additional 2 nights because of the cancellation (due to extreme weather conditions) of our booking by ferry to Scotland. They were able to keep us in the same room, which saved us moving rooms! Sara in the Piano Bar was very helpful in providing our late snack/dinner upon our delayed arrival. Food was excellent, as was the ambience of the bar (which reminded us of our experiences on cruise ships!!!) Grateful to all the staff for their warm welcome.

Additional bath towel hooks in bathroom would be appreciated, and a toilet cleaner! Otherwise, excellent room.

Everything was perfect. We really felt looked after. The room was clean, as was everything else. All.the staff has been super friendly and professional and we avail of the concierge several time to book few attractions. We spend few hours at the bar in the hotel. The drink were really nice, the atmosfere was relaxed and the staff was very friendly and professional. The location is perfect as it is sitiates just in the city centre, close to all the amanities. Hopefully I will have thr chance to go back.to Belfast one day so to book again my stay in this hotel.

Executive room secured at a really good price for Belfast on Valentines. Early check-in available, room much larger compared to previous stay. Staff at check-in were professional and friendly. Location is superb.

The price for two drinks (A Gin and Tonic and a Talisker 10 yr old) was incredibly high. 28 pounds. For comparison, a similar order in another bar (Laphroaig 10 instead of Talisker 10) was just under 17 pounds. Huge mark-up to drink here.

In the Belfast City Center. Very close to newly opened train and intercity bus terminal. Three blocks from local public transit bus routes end points. OK, enough on locations. Large well furnished room is what I. Several places to eat in the building. I had afternoon (aka high) tea one rainy day, loved it!

Between me and house keeping we had some confusion one day. The tag for cleaning/do not disturb wasn't acted upon even though I told maid in hall I was going out for the day. No biggie.

Room was very comfortable and pleasantly warm. All fixtures and fittings really lovely quality and just felt like a luxury space to relax in. A lot of attention to detail especially in the toiletries etc provided in the bathroom.

Only criticism would be the breakfast - the cooked option was a bit oily for my taste. The ingredients were quality and the flavours were lovely but all the fried food was a bit too greasy. That and the coffee - I think we got the last of the pot as it was very dark and almost tasted like stock cube - it was also filled up to the brim of my cup, leaving no room for milk.

We where upgraded to the titanic suite by suprise and it was amazing. Made my partners birthday night away that more special. Most of the staff where amazing. Our check in receptionist was amazing and so nice.

The night time receptionist wasn't overly approachable. Only 10pm and had a grump on her face and was walking back into the office space before I had finished asking a question. Felt like I was in the wrong for going to reception at 10pm to get her out of the office to ask a question. Also there was no room service after 10pm or so we had been told. My partner is disabled and we just wanted to chill in room with a wee snack after we'd seen a show in the opera house.

The room was lovely and the bed was really comfortable. The ambience in the piano bar was so relaxing and enjoyable. Also the breakfast the next morning was really delicious

No major issues - just couple of small suggestions for improvement. Would like to see electrical socket close to the bed for charging mobile telephones and also feel that the TV in room 1036 needs looked at as the guide functionality was not working which meant it was hard to see what was on to watch
