Location, nr railway station. Clean comfortable room up on 1st floor so very quiet. Good shower. Lovely & warm. Good price. Easy quick contact with owner when needed, he soon sorted any problems.

TV not working, made dark nights long. Not a hotel as advertised in Booking .com. Shared kitchen, would have preferred private tea/coffee in room.

The whole stay was wonderful, I didn’t expect much looking at reviews, the price and the fact it wasn’t a “proper” hotel but we were surprised it had a modern feel but still felt quite homely with the heating on full blast which made it so toasty and warm. The shower was also beautiful, and the bed was comfortable and looked clean. The rooms didn’t have keys it was all coded which was sent well in advance via email and text so it felt quite secure especially since there wasn’t any staff … we didn’t use the kitchen facilities as we went over the festive period so went to eat with family for most of the stay. the hotel was close to the town centre and close to family so was easy to walk and catch transport which was really helpful. overall we are quite impressed and will most likely be using again in the future

The rooms were nice but the walls and doors could of used with a bit of a wash down and a fresh coat of paint as there were a quite a few marks and stains on the walls. Also the security deposit emails I was bombarded constantly after I filled the forms and sent the deposit , I was still being sent again and again to send and pay which was a little off putting but other then that we had a great stay

Location was quiet, check in details easy to follow and plenty of on street parking spaces

Shared kitchen could have been cleaner and had no tea towels. Location was a little isolated if you want to walk to a bar

It was close and convenient not badly priced for the stay

Sometimes unable to get back into room but help was on hand via video call or maintenance guy attending property

I stayed at Roberts residence the last 2 weekends. The rooms were great and very tidy, the kitchen was also tidy, with plenty of utensils etc for cooking. I would absolutely stay here again.

The clean approach in any single way is a really much appreciated value, simple and functional lines but covering all necessary aspects of the stay. Really comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Comunal kitchen in good condition as well as comunal areas. An special mention for the staff, the lady in charge of the cleaning on my arrival day not just is a 10/10 on his work, she was sweet and comforting in any needs and helped me with kindness. Thanks very much

Street is a bit noise but not related to the property

The garden needs maintaining
