A very pretty place to stay close to downtown, the train and bus station, the river, and in a quiet neighbourhood a long walk (2 km) away from the bright lights of the touristy area near the falls. The falls are easily accessed using the Wego shuttle bus. The bedroom and ensuite are small but comfortable and you have access to the dining and lounge common area and an outside verandah. A short narrow flight of stairs leads to the bedroom. Your host Sunny is a pleasure to meet, very helpful, provided excellent communication for your arrival and a great breakfast.

Excellent! The house is very attractive, very clean and very comfortable.. The bed was excellent (as we get older, that matters more and more to us. ;-) There was plenty of hot water and everything worked. The room is small, but pleasant, with two big windows; and the lounge on the ground floor was very comfortable when we wanted to spread out our maps. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and attractively presented. The location was just right for our needs - about a half hour walk to the Falls in one direction, about a ten minute walk to the restaurants on Queen Street in the other direction. Sunny is an excellent hostess, even to the point of salting around our car after an ice storm and helping us to get our luggage organized and out.

The Bed & Breakfast WeGo bus stop on River Road is only a block away in a safe neighborhood. Downtown (less touristy) is only a few blocks away. Using the entry code for the front door was efficient. Comfy mattress and pillows, hot shower and soft towels. Sunny is a friendly hostess and her breakfasts were delicious (Canadian maple syrup!). She asked if I had any food allergies. There is a coffee/tea setup in the dining area, as well as dishes to use, and a fridge is available to store leftovers.

Everything was perfect for my three nights in Niagara Falls, ON.

Strathaird B&B is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the Falls area. The WEGO bus stops at the end of the road so very handy to use to get around the area without having to drive. If you like walking it is about 35 minutes to reach the Falls, along the River road which takes you straight to the Falls. The breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed having breakfast with the other guests sitting around the large table. Sunny is an excellent host very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her.

Sunny was very friendly and accommodating. She always made sure we had anything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful each morning and always left us satisfied and ready for a day full of adventures. We enjoyed conversations with the other guests we met as well.

Everything was lovely and clean, but it is an older home. The bathroom and shower are small and cozy, but great water pressure & plenty of hot water. Didn't take away from our stay, but just something to note. Because it is a B&B in a residential home, the guest rooms are upstairs close to each other. You do hear some noise, but nothing problematic.

Location was excellent. Close enough to the falls that you can walk but far enough that it's quiet at night. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Host was always on site and attentive to the guest needs.

The room booked did not have an on suite. But there was a private bathroom available. There wasn't any air conditioning but it was comfortable enough to open the windows. There was no television, so you would need your own entertainment.

Located outside of the tourist area, but still convenient. 10-15 minutes walk to the old Town. You can also walk to the Falls and new casino area in 30-40 minutes, but we chose to drive. Enough parking spots in the yard. Our room was small, but very nice and clean! There wasn't any bacteria or mold in the bathroom at all, even in obscure places. I like to keep my own home very clean, so I'm good at noticing stuff, and know how much work it takes to keep it that clean with all the humidity. And the owner is so nice! We only stayed one night for a concert. She told us about the free breakfast and checked with any requests. We said that we planned to sleep in but it'd be great if she could save some food for us. We were expecting cereal or bread. But when we got up just in time for check out, she gave us a full breakfast that she personally cooked and heated up for us. It was delicious too, way better than the stuff from tourist trap restaurants.

The only down side is that the AC unit is in the room and *very* loud. It cools the room alright. We were still able to sleep well though. We'd love to stay there again next time, and would highly recommend unless you have lots of luggage or are sentitive to the AC noise.

Located right beside a walking trail that gave access to bus station (7 minutes), Queen Street with restaurants, in one direction; 20 minutes to the falls in the other direction. Quiet streets, parking in back. Very cute decor, extremely clean and well maintained, breakfast was made fresh and delicious. Room was spacious with 2 large windows, air conditioning, ceiling fans and an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Owner was very easy to deal with and accommodated our request hold our luggage. Felt truly welcome and comfortable here.

Communication with owner was by email through booking and there was a delay. Eventually I gave her my phone number and we texted each other.

The breakfast was exceptional both mornings. The ensuite bathroom was a definite plus. Even though it was a full house, it was very quiet. The accommodations were conveniently located, so we were able to avoid finding parking downtown and enjoyed walking everywhere.

Understandably, the shower in the ensuite bathroom was quite small. It would be difficult for larger and/or taller guests to comfortably use it.

The room was so quaint, the owner was accommodating and sweet! I loved the location, nice and quiet. The breakfast was well balance and hot! Plenty of food, and again accommodating when it comes to allergies or preferences!

The parking was weird when you’re coming in by GPS. I actually pulled in the neighbors driveway! The thing is the front of the house is around the corner, and when the GPS tells you to turn into the driveway, it is at the side of the house, so if you have an idea of what the house looks like from the app, it kind of throws you off a bit. But honestly, I have no complaint, just something to be aware of :)
