We had a Junior Suite with a fireplace and a whirlpool tub in the room. The location is great. We were within walking distance of all the Clifton Hill activities. And there is a WeGo bus stop just a block away. The view was good overlooking Clifton Hill and the Sky Wheel. We were even able to see the Falls fireworks from our room. The breakfast was good with the usual choices. We would recommend staying here.

The back entrance to the parking lot should have a sliding door. It was very difficult to navigate the luggage cart through the two sets of doors to get to the elevator. I asked if we could have a second luggage bench sent to our room and was told that there were no extras. That surprised me. You would think that you could have two luggage benches in a suite. The front desk should point out the WeGo bus stop nearby to guests as they check in.

Breakfast, while simple was exactly what we needed to start our day. In terms of the room, we loved having a jetted tub, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was a very fun addition, and the location was exactly what we were looking for.

The rooms are very dated, and could use some TLC. During our stay the property had switched their system and we were consistently locked out of our room, and had to get a new key. The shower was pretty tiny if you are a larger person.

My room was on the first floor. If I open my drapes it would have been overlooking the breakfast atrium. The breakfast atrium is quite lovely. The room was very clean. It could probably use a little remodeling. Bed was soft. Bed linens were plain. Staff were excellent and helpful. It's a great place for families. You walk across the street and you have a carnival atmosphere with Ferris wheels, Ripley's Believe it or not, wax museum, carnival games, etc. Surprisingly the noise from the carnival did not penetrate the walls. I didn't hear anything it while in my room. It's a good value for the money. I walked from the hotel to Niagara city cruises for the Hornblower Cruise. It was a 15-minute walk. From City Niagara cruises I walked an additional 20 minutes to table rock. At table Rock I went to journey of the falls. Johnny of the falls was wonderful. The we go bus is on the route.

Rooms need a little updating

It's not fancy but the rooms are nice, the location is great, and the breakfast is fine (cereal, juice, eggs, sausage, and a variety of breads/bagels). It was quiet, and staff were very helpful, and it was an easy walk to everything we might like to do. I'd stay here again for sure!

A few more fresh options for breakfast would have been great (e.g., any fruit). The dining area feels a bit cramped, and it was hard to find a table. One day there was a huge, slow line for breakfast. The pool is pretty small, but nice otherwise.

It was easy to find. It was close to the Wego stops. It was close to Clifton Hill, Lundy's Lane, The Falls, souvenir shopping and restaurants. Our favourite restaurant for breakfast was The Flying Saucer restaurant on Lundy's Lane. Our favourite restaurant for dinner was Turtle Jacks on Fallsview Ave. We loved the hot tub in our room. So soothing after all the walking outside in the heat wave! We loved the view from our window, especially at night, for the delightful display of fireworks, every night at 10:00 pm.

The elevators are slow by today's standards but there are only 6 floors. We weren't impressed by the complimentary breakfast and opted to go to our favourite restaurant for breakfast. Perkins's restaurant across the street ... We checked several sites for reviews and there were more negative reviews than positive reviews so we opted to avoid that experience.

The room was very nice, the staff was lovely. It is very close to the falls to be able to walk back to the room if needed.

It was very hard to see out of the corner window because it was very dirty, it blocked the beautiful view. Also, would like to be able to cool down the room a little more as it got hot, but we appreciated the fan that was left In the room.

Free parking and free breakfast this close to The Falls? Can't beat it! It is a simple breakfast of sausage, eggs, toast/bagels, and cereal. Also juices and milk. The staff was always on top of replenishing the stock while we were there. Plenty of seating for eating as well. Fallsveiw Indoor Water Park is directly across the road. The wifi - Worked quite well. We never actually had a problem. (Was worried after reading other reviews - But worked well) The water pressure was good. Shower head is a bit low if you're 5'10+ can make it hard - But doable. Beds and pillows were comfy. The pool is heated - It's small but good for a nice float. Tv's will take a Firestick. No USB on the tv so bring an extension for power. The staff; especially Rob the maintenance man. He went above and beyond helping us when our room wouldn't cool down because of the other room occupants next door. He even helped us switch rooms late at night. AMAZING. He even moved the fridge for us!

Some rooms share 1 AC unit and if the people in the other room can't read not to set the AC to lower than 20° it will freeze the system up; and that includes your room. So it will NOT cool down. We had to switch rooms because of this (from a 2 bedroom suite to a 2 queen bed room) but Rob - The maintenance man was SUPERB. Some furniture is dated - But that didn't matter to us. Renovations = Price increase.

Very nice layout of hotel, very resort-ish. Would not expect this from the outside. We had a Family Suite, which was great. Keep the kids in a separate room! Small fridge included and ample ice machines available. Pool was small but very nice. Towels provided pool-side. Breakfast was in the Lobby area which sounds strange, but it is a huge area with plenty of tables. Options are simple but adequate and of course, free! Ample parking at this hotel and it is included as well. Fantastic value for what I paid.

The hotel is dated and does need upgrades. Paint, caulking around sinks and bathtubs, etc. Our room carpet was vacuumed well but was old. Hallway carpets thin but very clean. Renovation costs major $$ I realize. If you expect the Marriott, stay and PAY at the Marriott. But Clifton Victoria Inn is fantastic value for your money.

The location was the best we have been so far. Having parking and breakfast included in the package was really great!

The AC unit in the room was a little loud. We tried to adjust it and keep it low. The carpet was noticeably dirty as if it hadn't been vacuumed for days, as we could see the dirt on our feet. Providing a pair of slippers would have helped. The facility needs significant upgrades, including having AC in the common areas. Throughout our stay, it was hot and uncomfortable when moving from the Reception to the elevator and finally to our room. Although the breakfast was nice, it lacked variety, such as fruits and veggies. I hope I see some changes next time I come.

Check in staff were friendly, no hassle about reservation. When you walk in entrance you think you're in a posh hotel as there are railed balconies surrounding the main area going up to all floors. The room was quite spacious & clean. Our room was located not far from the pool on lobby level. Plenty of choice for breakfast like cereals, sausage & egg rounds, toast, bagels with toppings. Refreshments included teas, coffee, juices & hot chocolate. Stations filled often. Spacious area with lots of seating. A kind of wall separates this area from the pool. Nice temperature. Hotel was right across from casino! Love it! A short walk to Clifton Hill.

Rooms could use an upgrade as wallpaper is coming off in spots. More outlets needed in living space as there was only 1 usable 1. Wish it had a fridge. On 2nd floor needs signs to point to exit area out as you can walk past the side hallway. At night you could sometimes hear someone's shower water running.
