The hotel was under renovation, but what was visible to us was very pretty and the lobby was elegant. The staff was responsive and helpful when needed. The room was clean and had a view of the falls.

The bathroom needs more hooks in it. The room did not have hot water in the shower. We had to call maintenance at around 10:00 pm. They took about 45 minutes to come. The gentleman tested the water situation and said that there had been problems that morning throughout the hotel. He advised us to keep the water running for about 10 full minutes for the hot water to come up. After that it was fine. The room needs another mirror (preferably full-length) besides the one in the bathroom. The room also needs a clock. The price of the room was a little high considering the hotel was under renovation and not all of the amenities were available.

old world historic charm, spectacular views, manager provides personal hands on service. parking seems expensive however you get a value in the prime location, under ground in out privileges electric gate system, so no ticket to fuss over. And you can stay parked until midnight the day of checkout, which is a fabulous perk, providing a value to the expense. This hotel was built long ago when people used their rooms only to sleep because they went out all day, the rooms are smaller and suit the purpose elegantly. no bath tub, though. doesn't sacrifice good bathrooms, big, updated, maintained well. This premium hotel has character and charm, you will make good memories and be glad for the experience if you recognize value of treasured earlier eras.. low scores dont indicate the real value here, but rather the trend of modern aesthetic of renovation trends and unrealistic expectations of a building that still grandly stands the test of time. it is my new favorite hotel

The toilet was in a corner that seemed a bit cramped, but not an issue. they put extra space in the fabulous shower which was a wise choice.

Simply walking to our hotel was a treat! So elegant and well kept. We found out that Marilyn Monroe stay there as well! We got a room with a view of Niagara Falls, so beautiful to fall asleep and wake up to! The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful most of the time. We had breakfast in the Rainbow Room will a view of the falls, so magnificent. Crown Plaza is my choice when I return to lovely Ontario.

Upon leaving, we asked the best route to catch the WEGO bus to the train depot. I know that she meant well, but, her suggestion wasn't the best option because you have to change buses. We found it better to go back to River street and take the green line straight to the depot without switching buses with luggage. We did get off there and it's a very short walk and it's more simple.

The view and breakfast were amazing! There were plenty of breakfast options for everyone, including the kids. Thank you! 😊

We visited during the Christmas/New Year holidays and found the pool water to be too cold for kids (they caught a cold after swimming). Other than that, we had a great time and highly recommend this beautiful hotel for your stay, especially for families! 😊 Weeks later, our kids still talk about their amazing experience at this hotel and its restaurant, and the wonderful time they had on their Niagara Falls trip!

Great location, was so close to popular attractions plus a we go bus station and they even gave us complimentary we go travel cards. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and spoke highly about their management. Got there 2-3 hours early and was wanting to store our luggage in the meantime but the room was actually already available. Rooms looked a bit old fashioned but was clean. The room that we got was a partial view of the falls and was able to see the fireworks display every night.

Ants in bathroom - staff not answering phone (couldn’t leave room to go to lobby as my daughter was sleeping) Lack of safe Lack of refrigerator No wifi - could not get staff on the phone at all to fix issue! Seemed to be short staffed - line ups every time I walked by lobby and didn’t answer calls No room service - button on phone connected to top floor restaurant who said they don’t do room Service

The only thing good about Crowne Plaza Niagra was the manager at front desk and her team. I had booked through booking.com along with breakfast for 3 nights. The breakfast was pathetic and staff in the restaurant was rude. The room we got was so small it could only accommodate 2 people but we got booked for 4 adults. I don’t think the hotel should book it knowing how old and small these rooms are. I paid almost $500 per night for such a conjusted room with a small bathroom. After the restaurant staff got rude with me over tip I went and complained to the front manager and asked them to refund my money so I could go stay at another hotel but she promised to make sure to improve their service and make our experience better if we stay. Since I had paid for a fallsview room the staff moved us to a bigger room better for a family. I’d say the promise was kept.

Food

Checking was quick, and the front desk was super nice and informative. The bed was amazingly comfortable & the location was good, close to everything we wanted to do.

While our bathroom had been updated, the room itself was dated. We asked for a Fallsview room and we got a room with a slight view of the water and great view of the duty free parking lot. It was also very noisy as our room was right at the elevator.

Сlean, comfortable hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast. Earlier access to the water park. Starbucks on the first floor. Possibility to go to some restaurants and cafes through the covered passages, that is really cool if the weather is bad.

All good, but wanted to see more vegetables for breakfast.

Room and view was great, staff were great and very helpful and knowledgeable concerning surrounding sights and transportation to get to them.

The hall way was water stained. No screen for the balcony, I would have liked to hear the falls while I relaxed to sleep. They show a hot tub - but it has been closed up for some time now. Food was over priced, good- but over priced. Especially the breakfast.
