Even though a 10 minute walk from airport, I prefer that to having to catch the Hoppa bus, Large room, some water included bottled in glass not plastic. Sound proofed well so no plane or other guest noise that was dosturbing.

Maybe when you confirm booking you can put some directions of the beginning of journey from the terminal, I was fine once I got onto the path, but where that started was not that clear, ie you come out of the terminal and have to look behind you to that you need to go down in the lift.

One of the best hotels I have staying in in the past year and I travel for 6 months of every year and stay in far too many hotels. Easy to get a taxi, restaurant was excellent and terrific staff. Bedroom and bathroom were better than I expected. I'll definitely stay there again.

Turn the music down in reception. It was like a nightclub. And the only other suggestion is to put a sheet on the bed. The duvet cover was far too hot, but I like to have something on me. It made my sleep much less comfortable than it could have been. Otherwise, it was a terrific stay. Well done to the staff.

This is an attractive place and quiet and comfortable. Once you get there!

The signage from the south terminal the ground level walking path needs a complete rethink! There is a large sign in the terminal directing you one way. Then, when you get outside, there is a large sign pointing you to the Hilton. There is a tiny sign on the elevator that one needs to take to get to the ground level. Aside from that tiny sign on the elevator, there is no other signage . Yes, they sent me a map. But, that essential step is not mentioned on the map. Many people, such as myself, are trying to negotiate this while tired and jet lagged. I mention this to the staff at checkout, and they behaved as if they never heard this complaint before. If that is true. Thank you, I find it extremely hard to believe.

Courtyard by Marriott was an easy walk from the Gatwick South terminal or if you had alot of luggage to haul you could take the Hoppa bus for 4.5 gbp. The room was spacious and the king bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good with hot items, cereal, Danish, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, and juices. The staff were very polite and accommodating and even printed out excursion tickets and plane tickets. There was an onsite restaurant which served lunch and dinner. The location was ideal with a KFC, McDonald's, convenience store, and small cafe less than a 10 minute walk away. It will definitely be my choice for my next trip out of Gatwick.

The only negative was that the lighting in the room was too dim to read while laying in the bed. This was offset by many comfortable couches and chairs in the lounges which had ample light.

The hotel is close to the south terminal, with reception 24/7. The two double room was clean, with a decent size bathroom. Beds were comfortable, the small fridge is very useful. The breakfast was included in our rate and ithas been really excellent. The service was kind and attentive.

The bus stop for the hoppa bus at the North terminal was not that written in the welcome email. That generated a bit of confusion and rush at midnight, when we arrived via a delayed flight. I would advise to update the information in the email, since that seems to be a permanent change.

Proximity to the airport, everything was clean staff friendly overall it was great

The quality of the food at the restaurant feels a bit cheap. For the quality of the hotel, it would be great to have some healthier tasting food, the ingredients feel cheap, my sister stayed here a few days before me and told me that the food was bad quality.I thought she was being picky, but then I stayed and I would have to agree.

Very close to Gatwick Airport. We loved the full length window from which we could just about see people inside passing landing aircraft but could not hear a thing! A very comfortable and clean room with adequate space. Breakfast was great in the morning. Very convenient to both the airport and train to London. We would definitely stay again.

We would have liked somewhere to hang our heavy coats just inside the door and another bench to place our bags, there is plenty of room just inside the front door.

We have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott about four times before and it is now our go-to if we're on an early flight from Gatwick. It is so convenient to stay there as it's only about 10 mins walk to the south terminal. We always book a family room - they have two double beds - the rooms are always comfortable and very clean. We had a drink in the bar and dinner in the restaurant. Food is standard hotel food, nothing flash but filled a spot and you can easily order via a tablet on the table rather than waiting for staff to come to you. My son walked to KFC which is only about 5 mins walk away. We have parked at the hotel before but this time parked in the main car park. The bus driver kindly stopped to let us off as close to the hotel as he could, so we didn't have to walk back from the terminal. We'll happily stay again when we next fly from Gatwick.

It would be nice if there were family rooms with the option of having a double and two twin beds, rather than two doubles.

Staff are pleasant and helpful, beds are comfy, rooms are clean. It's a quiet hotel considering how close it was to the airport. We stayed there in Jan 24 and we were happy to book to stay again when flying from Gatwick on 3rd Jan 2025

Menu gave info at bottom saying v = veggie, vg = vegan gf = gluten free but there wasn't any gluten free options. Young lad on the bar said he knew they did a gluten free scampi ( which wasn't on the menu) and he could ask chef what else he could do but I settled for the scampi as he was the only one serving.

The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, the towels were soft and the aircon kept the room warm. The staff were friendly and the food in the bar and restaurant was very good. Excellent cooked breakfast and fruit and muesli options.

The shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel goes a long way round which took over half an hour. It's possible to walk from the terminal to the hotel in 10 minutes and there's pavement all the way, but if you don't fancy dragging suitcases when you arrive the bus is a bit of a pain.
