I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station, making it super convenient for travelers. But the real highlight? The beds! They are pure luxury—so comfortable that I had one of the best nights of sleep in a long time. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Whether you’re passing through or staying for a few days, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

The bed was very comfy, yet try and ask for middle or lower beds (i struggled to get on top) and the hostel was full so i could not change beds, The bathrooms and showers are very clean and are cleaned daily. The location is very central (5minutes to Grand Bayonne) and if you are coming by train it's literally 2 mins away which makes it easier to take the train upon departure. The staff overall were very welcoming and helpful.

There is no AC and it was a bit hot during my stay, and there is no cellphone service in the premise, so you have to stay connected to the wifi but cannot make regular phone calls, you have to go outside to catch signal

Close to train station. Curtains on bunk. Staff pleasant - but struggled to run bar and check-in solo when I arrived at night. Space to sit with books and games downstairs with bar.

School group staying was noisy with chatting and knocking doors both late at night and early in morning. Didn't like there was no sink in toilets, only in shower room- nowhere to wash hands if the showers were in use. The lockers had very thick fasteners that meant I couldn't use my lock to keep my bag safe (I was only there for one night so not a big issue but for a longer stay it would have been)

I really liked this Hostel. I stayed here on a Friday night in order to get the train the next morning to start the Camino. It proed to be a great decision. A lot of people stay here who wish to start the Camio. I even met three people on my first night here that i walked over 280km of the Camino with. Its a fantastic Hostel, very well located, it takes only 4 or 5 mins to get to the train station. The dorms are really nice, and you have good privacy (as can be expected) because of the type of bunk beds.

I was only there 1 night, and I had a really pleasant experience, so can't think of anything i disliked.

Great friendly helpful staff. Great location near train station. Well stocked kitchen area, easy to use. For the most part, clean. Caters to a large variety of travelers.

No place to hang the handheld shower head. Bathroom dispensers weren’t always filled. TP and paper towels were left out, or not stocked. Nights were noisy, from street noise and late arrivals, and creaking beds…

The location was perfect. Steps to the train station. There were cooking facilities if you need. There were also bar snacks, drinks and breakfast available for a small fee. The staff was super friendly and kind. I really enjoyed my stay!

Nothing although you will need to walk up several flights of stairs so just a heads up if you think this will be an issue

The bathroom and shower is just one large room with a shower nozzle and a floor drain. The water from the shower, which is in one corner of the room, simply flows all over the floor. At least there is a mop-like instrument provided to help push the water into the area of the floor drain.

Great location directly at the train station, comfy beds

Dorms are very small and there is not really enough space for the luggage. If you have the beds directly by the door, I wonder if you can sleep as the door is very heavy and therefore very loud every time it is opened and closed. Toilet and showers are separate but the toilet has no sink to wash your hands (yes, really!). Reception dude walked into the female dorm at night to show a new guest her bed while I was just changing my clothes. An accident but would have appreciated a knock or something.

It was cute! A lot of stairs but it worked well to stop before the Camino

A lot of stairs and the bathroom sinks are in with the showers not the toilets. Also the alarm went off multiple times during the night and woke me at 4:25 due to another guest

Just the job for an overnight stay following the Tour de France.

We paid £20 cash deposits for the keys and towels. When we left, the money was refunded to my bank card, which of course then incurred a currency conversion fee so we only received £16+. May they could put money in an envelope or similar and just return it when guests leave?
