The hotel is very well located in Zagreb center and yet in the middle of the woods (a park) which will give you peace of mind and at the same time you're very close to the center that you can reach either walking or driving. The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels, with big windows. I really liked the very classic details of the hotel (heavy old keys, paintings, furniture..etc). The building is from inside is very classic, yet from outside is modern😍. The car parking is available and free. The breakfast finishes at 11 a.m., which is very convenient if you are on vacation and you wanna wake up late. Even during the last day, the waiter waited for us even more, and he was very kind and welcoming. The food was really good. The staff ( reception and restaurant) are really kind, friendly and helpful.

There are few points to be taken into consideration, especially since it is ((a 4-star hotel)) 1. There was no kettle in the room. When we asked, they were very kind to bring a hot water for the baby, but kettle is really important to be in the room. 2. I asked for an ironing machine. Unfortunately, they don't have one !!! and even no laundry service in the hotel! I was really embarrassed as I had a flight the next day, and even the town laundries were closed on Sunday 😅 3. The room was very warm as AC was not On yet in April. I know it was cold outside but the room itself was really warm from inside. I had to open the windows and wake up early in the morning by the cars and the birds noise 😅💔. Anyway I really recommend to stay here

Located on the outskirts of the city, just a 20-minute walk to the center, yet still nestled by a lovely park. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxation. We stayed in a suite, and the large bathroom, complete with a bath, was a highlight—my wife especially enjoyed it. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety of continental options. Free parking was an added bonus, making it convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, a great balance of tranquility and convenience.

The hotel feels a bit stuck in time—the decor is dated and could use a refresh. Despite this, the overall experience was pleasant, but a modern update would make it even better.

It was a very nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast included. That was a great way to start our day. Room was clean and spacious. It was about a 25 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Upper town but we don't mind walking so it was ok for us The option is there to take the city transit or uber. Air conditioning struggled the first day but improved after that. Staff were super friendly

Location is superb, calm but yet close to everything. Staff is great and ready to assist on anything. We needed a painkiller in a middle of the night, and they were able to provide it, an absolute winner. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great. We had a layover over there and would definitely come again. Free private parking is also a great feature. Nice restaurant with great service availble on premises.

This is a lovely, quiet hotel and our room was beautiful & very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t as full of variety as some other hotels we’ve stayed at but it was still ok and the coffee (Americanos) was great. Staff very friendly & helpful. Beautiful woods nearby.

The walls of the rooms are very thin & we could hear EVERYTHING happening in the adjoining room, even when a light switch was turned on and off. The hotel is a bit more isolated than what we thought and although we did walk back from town one afternoon it was much easier to Uber or taxi. If we were to visit Zagreb again we’d probably stay closer to the centre of town. This is excellent for those wanting that peaceful country vibe though.

Amazing old-school hotel with very attentive and nice staff. Rooms were of very high standard and very well kept - very clean and spotless. AC was cold and efficient, beds very comfortable with high qaulity linen. Area is very green and nice and just a few minutes from town centre. Bus stops just outside, and an Uber or taxi to restaurant streets are under 10€. A very pleasant stay, I will most defintely come back.

The breakfast was a bit sparse to my standards, but I believe that to be a cultural thing.

The location is very good, it is near the forest/park. If you like to walk, very nice walk to city center. The rooms are big, comfortable. The staff are very nice. The hotel located near the road but there was no noise. The breakfast was ok, scrambled eggs, cheese, fruits and a lot of sweet options. My only suggetion would be more salty options.

The location is second to none, offering a green, leafy tree canopy outside our room; birdsong was an added bonus! The walk into Zagreb town is an enjoyable, short gradual 'nature walk'. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was superb, offering good coffee and something for everyone. Free parking was easy. Highly recommended.

I only stayed one night as I was going to fly out the next day. I tried to find a place close to the airport, but when I read the reviews of other places there were some reviews I didn’t like and this one was reviewed well. It was old world charm - these big heavy keys. The room was very large and clean. The hotel staff was very professional and responsive. The restaurant was charming and I think we ate off china. The one meal I had was a little bland for my taste buds, but good enough to eat.

The hotel is in a location close to the center and in a very airy area among the trees. The rooms are very large and classically furnished. There is no plastic key, you open your door with the old nostalgic hotel key. It is possible to reach the tram stop with a 10-minute walk and reach the liveliest area with 2 stops.

The exterior of the hotel is completely covered with glass and this image contrasts with the interior flooring, but this does not mean that I do not like the hotel.
