Seemed like a great spot next to the shore, but we checked in late and didn't get the chance to explore. Staff was on point, bed was great, and the dark-out shades helped a lot. We got out of there early and missed breakfast, but they let my wife grab a coffee, which is always a bonus.

The room was very very small. I don't think anything can be done there, so that's not on them. But literally on top of each other when we checked in. No refrigerator or kitchen stuff in the room, but we were in and out, so it wasn't a thing for our stay. Very small space, that's my only knock

Well located hotel with sufficient amenities. Great view out of our window. Room was spacious enough and beds were comfortable.

Curtains did not provide much darkness. We didn't appreciate having the entire corridor smelling of food that was being cooked up by other guests in their room. Very little sound protection from other rooms and it felt like once one person was awake the entire hotel was awake due to the noise. The price definitely did not match expectations.

Comfortable hotel on the waterfront in Hofn. The location is excellent overlooking the harbour and walking distance to restaurants, the swimming centre and the supermarket. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely presented. The coffee machine and L’Occitane products in the bathroom were a high quality addition. The service was excellent. There is no lift and our suitcases were carried upstairs by hotel staff.

No kettle although hot water could be accessed through the coffee machine. Bathroom and shower stall were small. Breakfast would have been an additional cost so we organized that elsewhere.

This hotel is great. The breakfast buffet is amazing. Great quality in food and services. The rooms where comfortable and simple designed. Now to the best part: the amazing and kind hearted staff. The hotel staff pay a lot of attention to the needs of their guests. For example we had a great talk with the front office agent about how exited we are for seeing northern lights. As they appeared he told us we should go outside. Without him we would have probably missed them. Definitely worth a stay.

Hotel is located near the harbour, walking distance to the public pool, a bus stop, grocery store and some breakfast places. The room overlooked the harbour and was pretty clean. Staff was absolutely awesome and let me postpone my booking by a day! The common area by reception was quite stylish and comfortable with a wooden statue and panoramic windows.

There was construction going on on the second floor right outside my room. The hall smelled of paint, there was a bit of noise from early on. I wish there would be a mini fridge in the room like in Reykjavik Berjaya, where I stayed earlier into my trip.

Perfect place to sleep finally in a decent accommodation after many days of lodges and all kinds of small homestays on the way. Everything you would expect from a decent hotel. Giant windows with amazing views.

The hand soap: first I thought it's amazing, some high brand one with a great citrus smell, I actually loved it. By the morning both our hands were destroyed and dried from it (and no, it wasn't from the traveling). I checked the ingredients and it's full of perfume. Unfortunately we're both alergic to these kind of perfumed soaps. We booked half a year in advance and finally the last few weeks the prices were 40-50% cheaper for the better kind of rooms than what we paid for the basic one.

I had a fantastic experience. The view from my room was breathtaking, offering a stunning ocean view. The room itself was spacious, clean, with a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The staff were outstanding – friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making me feel very welcome. Additionally, there were numerous dining options within walking distance. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at Höfn - Berjaya Iceland Hotels and highly recommend it for its great views, comfy rooms, wonderful staff, and convenient food options near by.

Reception staff friendly and informative. Clean and basic for a 1 night stay. We did not dine in hotel as there were several restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. FYI, there is a local grocery store a short drive away that closes at 7 pm. We had a nice view over the water with the glaciers visible in the distance.

We had an incredible stay at the hotel in Höfn. Located in a fantastic area with breathtaking views, the hotel provided top-notch facilities and amenities. Our room boasted an amazing view, and it was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and nice. The convenient and ample parking lot was a bonus. While the room could have been a bit cleaner, particularly the bathroom, the overall experience was superb. The hotel provided everything we needed, from shampoo and conditioner to towels and tea/coffee, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful view from the large and calming lobby, and very convenient location for this tiny town (steps away from gas station, restaurants, convenience store.) The short walk around the tip is lovely but dress warmly, it can get extremely windy.

Our room was small, but two of us could manage with all our gear. Ask for a nice view. We had a parking lot to look at. Not a criticism, but a suggestion: Having stayed at other hotels that had hot tubs to soak in after cold hiking days, this would be a nice feature to add.
