Very quiet hotel, staff were polite and friendly, the breakfast was very good plenty of choices. The rooms were good and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was a welcome bonus during our stay. The pool was also a lovely experience a place to relax after sightseeing all day. There are some good places to eat around the hotel. Pharmacy and small supermarkets a few mins from the hotel. The hotel is a few mins from a metro station ( Tolbiac) a 20 min metro ride to and from the city centre. We each bought a €31 weekly pass valid from Monday to Sunday, we used this on the metro, trains, trams and buses. This can also be used to travel to the airport. You will need a trimmed down passport photo for the pass. You can buy this pass at the ticket counter in Tolbiac, the staff will assist you. We found the metro a safe easy way to travel.

The rooms would benefit from having soft closing doors as they are heavy and slam shut. This can be annoying if others leave their room while you are still in bed.

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was amazing. There was a very cold minifridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. The bakery next door was amazing and we got breakfast there every morning! There is a metro station very close to the hotel so it’s easy to get to central Paris. The close by Chinatown was also interesting to visit. Highly recommend this hotel!

The shower/bathtub did not have a curtain so the bathroom floor got very wet.

Great location on the metro line, just few metro stops from all main attractions and direct metro line to Paris Orly Airport. Room was spacious with lots of room for your luggage, clothes, big and comfy bed. Coffee/tea station in the room, fridge, complimentary water bottles and bath robes. Nice breakfast with fresh croissant and selection of pastries. Swimming pool is a real bonus, available until 9pm. Really nice stay overall.

Paris Beauvais Airport is really far from this location so better option to pick Orly Airport as only 12km from the hotel

The hotel was in a great location close to the metro, a selection of shops and restaurants and we always felt safe walking around this neighbourhood. The hotel staff were all fantastic, very professional, friendly and so helpful, they really went above and beyond. Room was perfect, comfortable bed, good shower and complete with mini bar and kettle. Also to mention our room was exceptionally clean, housekeeping staff were friendly and did an amazing job tidying our room daily to a high standard. Breakfast at the hotel was good with lots of choice and finally, the swimming pool was a great bonus … perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the city. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nothing to mention.

After a long day of exploring and sightseeing, it was such a delight to wallow in the nice pool before bedtime. It just capped off the day at the Amiral, which begins with the excellent breakfast buffet, diligently prepared and constantly restocked by the cordial and efficient Bruno and his colleagues. Our room was clean and to our delight, overlooked the Avenue d’Italie and its Thursday produce, fish and meat street market. Our room was big enough for two guys to move around in without falling over each other, was made up each morning, the beds were perfectly comfortable. It was my second stay at the Amiral and I highly recommend it.

There were no washcloths, though that is commonplace throughout Europe and I should know to bring my own. Also, no towels are provided at the pool, but we quickly learned to bring along our bath towels. And I wish European hotels would provide shower doors or curtains so the floor doesn’t get wet, no matter how much you cram yourself against the corner to avoid splashing beyond the little window they think will keep water in.

The pool is lovely. Rooms are clean and functional with everything you'd expect. Fully accessible and the lift is large enough for a mobility scooter. Location is good with metro line very close. I did not try the breakfast.

Returning late at night, the front door is locked. No warning given of this. I guessed I had to press a button which I did several times before someone came to let me in. It's not a nice feeling to be a female alone late at night on the street.This happened every time I returned. Lift is slow but manageable.

Swimming pool

We really liked our stay here! I knew this area already, knew it was well connected by metro and bus, and there were plenty of interesting things to do a short walk away (Gobelins museum, Chinatown). We requested interconnecting rooms and this request was granted, no issues. During the stay, one of our party got sick and the reception was open and very helpful when I asked for assistance in the middle of the night - much appreciated! In short, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again when we visit Paris.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room and facilities were very nice and spacious. There is a bus and a metro station right by the hotel, so it was very easy to get everywhere in the city.

The room we were given smelled like cigarettes, which was unfortunate. But, other than that, we quiet enjoyed our stay.

Location is good, near the metro. We had a room on 7th floor with balcony, amazing views and so lovely to sit and watch the sunset. The pool was great, especially after a long day sightseeing. Staff were amazing, so nice and helpful. Beds were comfortable and rooms compact with everything you needed. Great bakery next door snd places to eat nearby.

The lift was old and very slow. Lack of information regarding the area and tips to access locations.
