It's close to the Kesei-Narita station. Had it not been raining, we could have walked to the hotel from here. But since it was, we took a taxi and it only costs 600Y. A great deal considering we had our big luggage with us. It's a 13-15min walk to the Narita Omotesando and the Naritasan Shinsho-ji temple from the hotel. Space was not too tight. We were able to comfortable open up our luggage from the space of the room. They have Japanese toilets for their toilets. Shower and faucet was separate from the toilet so both can be used at the same time. They have free shuttle buses hourly from the hotel to Narita airport for free.

Near Naritasan Park, there is a street dedicated to traditional culture. The service staff were excellent,. We stayed at this hotel twice; one time we got a great room, and another time we got a small, not-so-clean room.but the convenience store downstairs was a plus.

The hotel is stylish and comfortable. The beds are comfortable and it was so nice to have a couch in our room. The breakfast is great and has a range of options. There is a mini convenience shop in the lobby which is super convenient. There is a shopping mall and restaurants within walking distance. And a beautiful shrine and food/shopping street (has a Kyoto look and feel) 10 minutes walk away also. Narita is a lovely area, it is so nice to see a lot of greenery, especially after spending most of our time in Tokyo and Osaka.

It would be great if breakfast was served for a little longer as it finishes at 8:30am. The bathroom is very compact, I think you would struggle if you are very tall or large.

We booked 2 nights here just to have somewhere to decompress for 8 hours (after 22 hours of travel) before we could check in to out longer term hotel. It was fine, seemed to have good facilities, but can't really comment on much more because we weren't there long or even overnight

Was a pain hauling luggage (we had a lot to be fair, travelling with infant) to the nearest station, lots of narrow bumpy hilly streets. Hotel had some kind of bus service but think that was just to/from the airport

The pillows were a kind of 'health' pillow . They were VERY hard and had some kind of grain in them. I couldn't use them & had to use a folded towel instead

the shuttle to and fro to the hotel.

We just faced a small problem as we arrived at 7 p.m. at the hotel and the shuttle for the earliest shuttle trip to the airport were fully booked. So the next morning we hardly found any suitable taxi or Uber as we were 6 people (2 adults and 4 kids). So make sure if you are travelling in big group, please make a reservation an hour ahead from the hotel staff. Otherwise, either you will be late to catch your flight or you have to walk to nearest station about 850 metres.

Good location, there are stores nearby and a small convenience store inside the hotel itself. Breakfast was included, free shuttle bus available for guests. We could use the scales to check the weight of our luggage. Room was small, but all the amenities were available, beds comfortable, nice view from the window. Clean, nice place. Good price.

Walls very thin, could hear drunk young guys the whole time, children screaming in the next room. Also seemed that this hotel was pretty popular with huge Chinese tourist groups. There were so many of them we had to queue for the elevator for like 10 minutes and eventually took the stairs. Don’t think that such huge groups of 50+ people is a good idea. Hard for other guests to use the facilities.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Very convenient having restaurant on site and 7 eleven. Close easy walk to Naritasan Shinshōji-ji which was lovely. I would definitely recommend it. Free shuttle to and from airport.

My first time in Japan and not sure about hotels that have smoking available rooms… as I could still smell smoke even though I had a non smoking room, but I have sensitive sense of smell. Wouldn’t put me off staying here again as everything else outweighed that.

I’ve stayed at The Hedistar several times. It’s one of my go to places in Narita. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and a little more spacious than rooms at other places I’ve stayed there. I appreciate the free shuttle to the airport. Also, the small mall with a supermarket is only about a five minute walk away, which I like. Of course, Narita-san, the temple, etc. are also just a few minutes away on foot. So just an overall nice place to stay in Narita. Price is usually pretty reasonable, too,

1. The hotel lobby has FamilyMart store. 2. The room is quite packed. A comfortable stay while waiting for your flight the next day. 3. Free shuttle bus to the airport but needs to book during check in. Better come check in early to avoid the time slot that you want fully booked.

The distance from airport is quite far. We had to take taxi as it was windy & cold that night with heavy luggages. The receptionist couldnt speak english really well. He asked me to fill in the shuttle bus booking form online in Japanese which obviously i couldnt read (dont even try to help even if i asked him) and he even charged my card with the wrong amount (case closed). Luckily another receptionist helped us to book the shuttle bus. The elevator is quite creepy.
