Very clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Generous bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped. Excellent location. Parking available, one car per room with plenty of street side parking available. Convenience of extra toilet was a bonus. Large bathroom with generous pump bottles of soap, hand cream, shampoo and conditioner - nice touch.

We paid $420 a night - a little disappointed no courtesy milk in fridge on arrival, and no offer of room service during our stay - it would have been a nice gesture - however, plenty of bath linen supplied for two guests.

It’s a good place to spent a whole week in Hanmer spring while enjoy the dark night sky with a sip of wine. The apartment itself is just awesome. Very close to the 4 square, shops, and the hot pools. The spa is good. Definitely helped with both washer and dryer. The TV got Netflix and YouTube which is awesome. And we always have a parking spot.

Nothing much just the fact that some of the lights in the room we stayed in did not work. They do provide milk but you have to return the bottle and get a refill. Just a bit inconvenient. The cleaning bite, you have to ask the staff to do it. So let them know you need cleaning and they do a good job on request!

this apartmennt is an excellent choice, it is truly spacious, very comfortable, amazing view, the equipment of the kitchen is very sufficient, everything you need (I maybe only missed a scale), all was clean. We enjoyed the fireplace (during christmas), spa bath, having brekky on the balcony, all quiet. The apartment is close to the center and you can start some small neighbourhood hikes there. Generally we were very happy with our apartment selection and we very much enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is only 5 mins walk to the village. We stayed at a big 2 bedrooms apartment with 2 bathrooms. Netflix is also included. Very quiet neighborhood.

We had asked for upper floor apartment. However upon check-in, we were told that due to maintenance, only ground floor apartment was available. The management tried to contact me the day before but we missed the message because we were travelling. The management was very apologetic and offered a small discount for our inconvenience. It will be nice if they contacted me earlier than 24hrs notice, perhaps we would have cancelled the booking to find alternative lodging.

The location was excellent- easy to walk into the main street for shops, restaurants, hot pools etc and only 15 mins walk from the forest walks. The 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful with requests for extra tea and coffee, complimentary towels for the hot pools and they helped promptly when there was a problem with the TV (which they fixed).

The automatic bathroom fans were very noisy. They started when the light was switched on and continued for longer than necessary after the light was turned off. They could be heard in the living room. Both toilets seemed to have an unpleasant odour even after cleaning.

I’ve stayed here before and what I love is how clean it always is and cozy. I’ve stayed with friends and family and the two - three bed apartments give you a feeling of luxury when you stay at hanmer.

I mentioned this to the reception before we left that two of the bathroom doors weren’t shutting completely. We told the man at reception that because there was to bathrooms we didn’t find this a big issue but felt we better let them know it needs addressing. He was very good at listening to our feedback.

The size of the unit is lovely and spacious. The kitchen facilities are excellent and we were able to cook a meal plus a Dishdraw for cleaning up meant we didnt have to spend time on dishes. The Gas fire and underfloor heating, when it was 2 degrees outside, mean"t we warm and cozy. The spa bath was relaxing , and with sky TV we could watch the rugby. Plus a alcony to view the mountains. Hands down my favorite place to stay in Hamner Springs.

Maybe quieter fans in the bathroom and toilet..

Lovely spacious three bedroom apartment. Very clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, just a short stroll into town. Was super quiet, just the sounds of birds, even though the complex was full. Staff very friendly and accomodating. We’ve stayed in Hanmer a few times at different places and this is by far the best yet

Loved everything about our stay at the Village Lake Apartments in Hanmer. The location is great, an easy walk to the hot pools but still quiet at night. The apartment was absolutely beautiful and great to have 2 bathrooms so the 4 of us could use them and not get in each others way. The staff were great too. It was a lovely outlook across the little lake in the small village.

We arrived and the whole town had no power. It would have been nice to have a backup plan for a jug of boiled water to be brought around every hour or so, so you could relax and have a cup of tea when you felt like one. So either a small generator for that or a large generator to keep the place going until power came back on. It's not cheap accommodation so even bringing jugs of water would have been great.
