The comfort of the bed, the Diptyque products in the bathroom, the welcome gift in the room, all excellent. The 24 hr coffee and snack station is a welcomed bonus. The Spring restaurant lunch was exceptional.

Opt for a suite - even though a superior room is a larger size, I could still not open my suitcase anywhere between the bed and walls.

It’s an amazing hotel in all the ways. Great restaurants, nice rooms, beautiful location. You literally live in the park. The team is very professional and polite. It was my first visit to Amsterdam, and I heard many complaints about the food in the city. When I arrived I didn’t have any dinner reservation and a manager found me a table at their fine dinning restaurant right away. It was great! If you stay there, don’t miss an opportunity to have dinner on the second floor, the restaurant is definitely gonna get a Michelin star next year. Also the products they have in the mini bar and bathroom are incredible. They say a lot about the quality of the hotel - healthy snacks, non alcoholic cocktails, natural shampoos. I won’t disclose all the beautiful details, so future guests could get a few surprises! Enjoy!

The staff is very friendly, kind, courteous, helpful, professional, we would like to thank all the team specially Giulia for accommodating all our requests, for her kind words and for the nice surprise for our son’s birthday , the concierge team for their help and advices, the cleaning team for the exceptional work of keeping the rooms spotless, neat. The breakfast is amazing, tasty, excellent quality and presentation. By far the best 5 stars hotel we ever visited, the design, the vibes, the smell, the attention to details…..

Absolutely nothing!

The location of the property was very nice in the park and getting to the center was easy. The concierge team was very helpful in assisting me with bookings and ideas what to do. The building is beautiful and the rooms were quite nice. Room service was better than expected.

Luxury hotels should not have a card system to operate the lights, just a general switch. I really had an issue with the lighting switches and contact points which were cheap and did not at all fit the nicely decorated room. It was a sole member of the staff that I considered was rude to me at check in.

Our stay in the Pillows was wonderful in all ways. Most important, the staff were exceptional. Exceedingly positive and friendly, always anticipating our needs with fun and joy. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed having a lounge to comfortably relax, read the paper, have a cappuccino, and just “chill.” It was so much more personal than a typical lobby, and a very nice touch in a boutique hotel. My husband really appreciated to quite modern exercise equipment once he figured it out. I also very much enjoyed the jazz bar. It was perfect, and the two waiters were truly amazing.

My husband is unfortunately dealing with a stroke, and said it was a bit of a challenge maneuvering in the room. I like having a second room to read while he’s napping, so next time I’ll book a larger suite.

I had a wonderful experience at the Pillows Maurits hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! They were extremely accommodating. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms, and high quality service. Property is clean and has a fantastic old time charm. Definitely coming back <3

Very nice new hotel. Everything was perfect, a nice room, very friendly staff always ready to help. Clean and beautiful. Also the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Everything. Clean, high-end rooms. Top-notch service. Beautiful building and area (park). Quiet and pleasant. Location was great. It was not in the center of the city, making it a peaceful, relaxing and safe experience. But all great neighborhoods and attractions were a short walk or tram ride away.

€70 fixed price can ride to the hotel was steep and unexpected. Uber would have cost us €37.

I'm actually impressed by the hotel. It seems to be a real five stars hotel, as opposed to other hotels in Amsterdam, that are five stars only in theory. For example, it's the first time I see that, for the (included) breakfast, a waiter asks you what you would like, which is really nice.

The staff were really helpful knowledgable and friendly, although the service in the Spring Brasserie restaurant was quite slow at lunch and in the evenings, however their breakfast menu had an amazing selection. Maybe Spring Brasserie breakfast items should be priced separately. Not everybody wants to pay the total price for a croissant and coffee only.

The bedrooms are quite small for a five star hotel. The menu cost for breakfast as stated above. Our room had not been cleaned one day when we returned to get ready for the evening. We left the hotel at 7.45 am and returned at 5.30pm and it had not been cleaned, so no fresh towels etc, so we had to go to reception to say we were not happy. Not what I would expect to need to do at a five star hotel! They did however send somebody to clean it straight away. The drinks menu was different for cocktails in the Spring Brasserie restaurant to those in the cocktail bar. The waiters seemed a bit put out when we asked in the cocktail bar for one not on their menu.
