Great location- Just a short walk to the Fishpen area and beach, local takeaway and Mitchies jetty coffee van. The pool was clean and refreshing, the unit was clean and had all that you needed for an enjoyable stay away form home. Kitchen is well equipped and the couches were comfy for a chilled night after a day on the beach! The beds are comfortable too and I was thankful for the blankets on one particularly chilly night!

Our unit didn't have a private outside area where we could put the clothes dryer out in, to get fresh air and the unit complex don't like you putting your wet beach or bath towels on the chairs outside to dry , so it was hard to dry them unless we used the shared clothesline, something that in the past with other holiday units hasn't worked well with things being stolen. We did however use the clothesline and thankfully didn't have anything nicked- so win win.

Accommodation and presentation of units and property was excellent. Quiet and family friendly. Beds, kitchen and facilities were second to none. Management staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. Best place I've stayed iat, in decades! Thank you for such a great trip.

Everything was excellent.

It's was a lovely size unit with everything we needed. Nice little balcony to have coffee in the morning. Owners were lovely and very helpful. Gardens are well looked after. The pool was clean and warm enough for a swim.

The apartment was very clean. The hosts were lovely. Got a courtesy phone call the week before just to give us a run down for our arrival. Recommend The Sands for a stress free holiday.

Great location, close to the beach, we had 2b2b apt very convenient for 4 adults. Good range of cookwares.

Rooms are old style and no refills for supplys we had to buy own toilet papers etc.

We are regular return patrons and The Sands are our considered choice as the best value for money, ideal location and perfect hosts in Kim and Geoff.

A well maintained property in a quite and peaceful location, close to the beach, operated by warm, welcoming and professional staff. We will definitely stay here again.
