This is the second time we have stayed at the Azoris Faial Garden. The paid extra for a sea view, and it was worth every penny. It has a great pool overlooking the harbour, and is behind Peter's Sports Bar and the main drag. You are made to feel special during your stay, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are well trained and must be seen a kudos locally as being an employee here. The buffet breakfast has great choice, and we dined at the hotel one evening, which again was excellent.

Nothing - it is one of the best hotels we have stayed, and have stayed for a second year running.

Amazing views of Pico, some of the best in the entire city, and they're available for guests in any room: right from the pool bar. Also, really good location and great staff all around. Shoutout to Tania at the reception for going the extra mile!

The building and some features in the room are a little aged, but if you don't mind that it's just a great hotel in a great location!

Good location, really close to the city centre and embankment. Gays in the reception helped with all our questions and was super friendly) Amazing spa and pool, water in jacuzzi can be a bit more hot, but it’s still good. We really enjoyed our rest. Also want to say about delicious meals in restaurant and very good breakfast. Our room was comfortable, had huge bad and amazing view on Pico. Thanks for team of the hotel!!

Some workers was really rude, pay too much attention for their phones and ignore customers (in bar area especially). We also didn’t have some simple things in our room, and called to the reception to ask about everything: slippers, toothpaste and a brush etc.

Great location near the city centre, marina and beach. Amazing outdoor pool with the view on Pico mountain. Breakfast was tasty, wide variety of food. Indoor pool, jacuzzi and gym are also great to have in the hotel. Massage was amazing and I would recommend it.

I have no negative comments, just suggestions for improvement. Furniture is little old. There is very nice big terrace in the second floor that could be used as chill out zone.

The location was beautiful. The staff outstanding. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

They did warn me when I arrived about noisy construction. Works have been better to have had the choice to stay and not tell me as I’m signing in. Also the beds were way too hard and uncomfortable. I travel a lot and this hotel had by far the worst mattresses I’ve ever slept on. I’d love to go back but quite frankly with four sleepless nights I’ll probably not go back.

We were there 2 nights. We had a top floor corner room which was large & had great views. Two balconies. Bed was a 8/10, shower was 8/10. Breakfast was very good & the pool was great! It is located up on a hill, but they have a walk way which makes getting to town easy. Close to several restaurants. It is an older hotel which could use some updating, but I would recommend it without hesitation

Location amazing, nice facilities, good staff.

A few things needed renovation/sprucing up (which I think is going to happen soon). Quite a lot of noise outside the hotel at night (possibly from other establishments in the town, so not much the hotel can do about that).

Breakfast was excellent and would meet everyone's needs. Hotel is perfectly located so that you can easily walk the town and walk along the beautiful marina. Being there in July, the outdoor pool was wonderful overlooking the marina.

Only I think the bathroom could use are hooks to hang your towels.

The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to the marina albeit down some steep steps. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a reasonable selection at breakfast. The evening meal was also good but there are ample other restaurants nearby. The room was in one of the outbuildings and slightly dated but clean.

Location location ! Beautifully maintained! Staff was beyond helpful. Carlos Rosa Andrea were attentive provided excellent service and were helpful in giving advice to local restaurants cafes and during are stay were so kind to ourselves and other people who stayed at this location.

The hills and stairs needed to get back to hotel at end of night but if cab was taken the back entrance to get to hotel was required as cab left us at front of hotel
