The hotel was fabulous from the moment we walked in the lobby. From the cosiness to the beauty of the place to the wonderful staff. As we arrived,fairly late, we were greeted very warmly by the concierge. Our room was great. A good size but not too big. Fantastic shower and lovely views even though we were in the middle of town. Great location to all the main places of interest and not too far to walk in any direction.. Gokhan Gokmen looked after our needs and wants and is indeed an important asset to this array of wonderful staff. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and attended to all things with fun and ease. The only thing we found difficult was having to leave to return home. Will recommend this hotel and definitely use again if we return to Istanbul l.

Very good location. The room was very nice and large, larger than expected. It was a short stay, but I really enjoyed the comfort of the hotel

There was nothing about the hotel experience that was anything less than brilliant. Our only issue during our stay was the transfer back to the airport. The driver we had to return to the airport should never be allowed behind the wheel of a vehicle. He was the most dangerous driver I've ever experienced and we were shaking when we finally reached the airport. It may be an idea to ask the wonderful staff at The Regie to recommend a safer driver with a car that has seats and seatbelts that actually work. I'm certain they could screen the driver for insanity if asked!

Let me start by saying that this hotel has been one of the finest properties with the best value, location and staff as I have experienced in my world travels. I am happy to recommend the Regie hotel to anyone planning to visit Istanbul; you will not be disappointed! From my experience (travelling as a couple), here's why we loved it: Staff: Gokhan and the entire staff here are fabulous (he is famous on TripAdvisor reviews for a reason!). They went above and beyond to answer all of my tourist-related questions prior to arrival and organized top-notch taxi transfer service from the airport which made the commute fast and easy. We ended up experiencing an unforeseen situation and they were beyond empathetic and flexible to meet our needs -- these are the times when you can truly tell if the people/company are authentic and caring --- and they are! Their hospitality truly made us feel so welcome in Turkey. Hotel: Rooms are very sophisticated and upscale; we had a standard room, so I can only imagine the superior suites! Everything was spotless and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was in a beautiful room and had a good variety on offer each day. Wish we would have had time to use the complimentary sauna downstairs! Location: Prime location within walking distance of all tourist sights in the Sultanahmet area. It was on a side lane of a popular street, making it easy to access, yet sound-proof from the city noise. We felt completely safe walking home at night from dinners to this location, which is super important. As a side note, I'd used Google Streetview to preview prior to booking and it was hard to get a true vibe of the area. I can attest that it is an excellent location. All in all, if we ever get the pleasure of visiting this marvelous city again, we will 100% be return guests at the Regie Ottoman.

One of the best things about this hotel is that it is very quiet . Traffic is not allowed on the street so unlike the rest of very busy Istanbul, the street is totally quiet. Also, you cannot hear anything through the walls coming from the rooms next door. Be sure to get a room with a good view, some don’t have any view. The bed is super comfortable. You can refill the glass water bottle they give you and get ice at the bar downstairs. The staff is very nice. The rooms are starting to look a little tired and could be cleaner.

The room is comfortable, spacious, and very well-appointed. The bathroom is large and spacious, with a bathtub; I would have preferred a shower. The breakfast was generous and varied, with savory, sweet, and other options available from the kitchen. Conveniently located, just a 15-minute walk from the tourist area of central Istanbul. In the evening, the breakfast room transforms into a Michelin-starred restaurant, with a romantic and peaceful atmosphere, with a rich and tasty menu, and excellent service.

The hotel is located in a pedestrian area, so you'll have to leave the hotel to catch a taxi. An espresso or cappuccino is not included in breakfast, you'll have to pay for it separately.

Best place to stay in! Don't look any further Exceptional hotel such as Reggie Ottoman will create at least 50% of your Istanbul experience! Historical 200years old building renovated with fine mixture between history and great style! Not only this but their restaurant is part of the Micheline Stars 3years in a row! It is a must to try their special refreshing hibiscus drink! Staff are one of the most welcoming we met and assisted us with absolutely everything possible! Thank you dear hotel for the amazing stay!! To all reading the reviews; don't look any further, this is your place to stay!

This hotel has been tastefully converted from an old tobacco factory, The suite was stunning with high ceilings and beautifully decorated. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly, kind, and helpful. Location is perfect for walking to Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, the Basilica Cistern, and Grand Bazaar. The apartment was quiet owing to double glazing and traffic being restricted along the street. There was a variety of foods for breakfast, although the hotel was surrounded by a vast array of eating places morning, noon and night. Would love to visit again.

The hotel is in an excellent location to explore the delights of Istanbul. It is not too big and has a charming atmosphere. The rooms are large, clean and tastefully furnished with all facilities provided. The warmth and friendliness of all the staff was outstanding and they would do almost anything to help make our stay so pleasurable. Gökhan should’ be very proud of the services he provides.

Lovely hotel. Big room. Big shower. Good breakfast. Adjacent to major things to see md dining options. Nice staff. Gave us ia parting gift.

Breakfast - went 30 minutes before closing and they were taking everything way. So things missing Md felt super rushed. Started moving identities nd wa loud and not enjoyable. Not accommodating breakfast staff. Front desk staff knew we were only in for one night but didn’t tell us mosques were open until 10. Luckily we found that out ourselves.
