We were travelling far and did not want to stay "in the city." It's convenient to major roads; very quiet; nice restaurant 150 meters away. We chose it because we had our dog with us; they gave us a room at the far end of the hall, perfect. Kind of weird not to have anyone there when we arrived, but no problem at all.

Good location/easy access for an overnight stop.

It looks like it is nearly ready for a renovation.......but fine for me as a solo traveller wanting an overnight stop on the way home.

The parking was secure with a code entry gate. The breakfast was a good basic level. The staff who were present from Monday morning (not Sunday early evening when we arrived) were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean.

We booked the room based upon its location as we returned back to the UK and this worked well. Unfortunately there was no food available at the hotel itself and a good restuarant in close proximity was also closed on Sunday evenings but we did see a fixed pizza van close by. The main disappointment was that we booked a hotel with air-conditioning and this did not work in our room which was too warm. The AC fan worked but it just recirculated warm air. I attempted to set the AC temp a number of times but this made no difference, even when indicating the desired temp, no cold air was coming from the AC unit. I did bring this to the attention of the hotel reception on departure but was not offered any compensation.

Very dated. No kettle for tea/coffee. Room wasn’t very clean - very dusty.

Proximity to restaurant, boulangerie/coffee shop and supermarket.
