Everything was excellent. The hosts, Marie Anne and Gerard, were very hospitable and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a wonderful visit to Reims and their lodgings. The location can't be beat -- on a quiet side street right next to the cathedral and a relatively short walk to the other main attractions of Reims. If you are visiting from the U.S. or the UK, both the hosts speak very good English.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

The property appeared to be a classic 19th century compound. Very private. The house was decorated beautifully with some occasional whimsical sculptures and paintings. The location was wonderful to walk to shops, champagne houses, parks, or the cathedral. There was a lot of street repair going on a few blocks away but that wasn’t the B&Bs fault. Breakfast was fresh pastries, cheese, and fruit. Lots of places to eat around there but check hours because many closed between lunch and dinner. We will definitely go back.

Le Clos de Roys is a lovely B&B with 2 rooms in the home of wonderful French hosts. Marianne and her husbands are exceptional hosts and made us feel very welcome. The home was beautifully decorated with beautiful Christmas decorations and as we were travelling around France and Europe visiting Christmas markets it was extra special. Both our rooms were very spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The house is very close to, and you can also see Reims Cathedral - everything is in walking distance but bus and tram lines are also close. Breakfast was also lovely and Marianne was very helpful with recommendations in the area.

We were warmly welcomed to Clos de Roys by our hosts Marie Ann and Gerard, and their beautiful dog Indie. The lovely house is in an ideal position for sightseeing and, thanks to Marie Anne’s suggestions, we were able to make the most of our stay in Reims and also for our onward trip to Strasbourg which she knows well. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, cafes and and all the amazing sites of Rheims. The hosts were very welcoming and gave us great restaurant recommendations and assisted us with transport to railway. Our room was very comfortable & we had a delicious breakfast each morning. Highly recommend!

We would definitely return to Rheims and stay with Le Cloy des Roy. The stairs to our room didn’t worry us.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The location could not be any better. Our host was so hospitable. Breakfast was amazing. The room was spotless, comfortable , well appointed with all that is needed to make our overnight stay delightful. We followed our host’s recommendations for dinner at Exelsior and it was magnificent. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit to your lovely town. Merci merci!

So close to Cathedral. Old town was wonderful! We had only a small time to spend, but a great adventure! Hosts were marvelous! Hope they visit us!

Home, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and peaceful! Could not have asked for better! Grand breakfast!

A bit of ham with breakfast would have been nice. I'm English, I'm never going to be happy with a continental breakfast. Wasn't offered a second cup of coffee on our second morning. location perfect. You can see the cathedral from the courtyard. Secure parking was a bonus.

Next to the cathedral! Airconditioning was very necessary on this 35 degree day. Loved the secure parking in the courtyard. The breakfast was lovely and the hosts were wonderful and kind.

Absolutely the only thing would be having to sit in the bath to take a shower.

The host was so friendly and helpful, the room clean and comfortable, the location perfect, the breakfast delightful, and the property well kept and welcoming - it was like staying in someone's home but with privacy to get away! Highly recommend this inn!
