I am giving it 10. There were so many negative reviews I almost did not book it - but it was perfect for us two for two nights! For a Standard Double room we had a very spacious room. They have kept the old french style doors within the renovated room which add a cosy and lovely touch to the room, but also made it more privative as the room had a private closable hallway. Bed is very comfortable. Location at the Place d'Erlon is the center of the city - under 5 mins from the Reims train station and under 5 minutes from a tram stop going to the TGV station. The place is surrounded by bars and restaurants. I recommend Aroma close by for a great culinary experience.

For some reason the cleaner came to ask to clean the room in the morning of our check out? I'm sure this could be better coordinated e.g. they are sent after we have checked out.

Location, location, location. On the ‘tourist mall’ of Reims which in itself is not that beautiful or special but from this base it’s a few minutes to beautiful parts of Reims. Location for parking is ideal as well and the hotel has a discount offer for 24h parking. Staff are friendly and service minded. And we had the extra bed for our son (13 years) which was quite comfortable as well.

If you’re big on grand reception halls, then this Best Western is not for you…

Convenience: Located about a five minute walk from the train station. So great for non-car travellers. Room: Cute, clean and air conditioned! When the staff put us on the 4th floor during the summer I was a bit worried. I thought we were in for a hot sleep. But it was instead so comfortable and charming because we could over look the fun on the street below and stay cool. Atmosphere: We were here during the Olympics and the Main Street here was so charming, with free concerts and people dancing. Staff: So helpful and warm. Breakfast: Decent coffee, great bread and butter, and I could cook my egg to order :)

Baggage & stairs: Tough to get heavy luggage into elevator due to stairs.

Just a little older place with some things falling off. Nothing bad. Depending on room, can be noisy. Street was noisy but I was too tired so it didn’t bother me. Parking is a tad complicated; in low emission zone so I think the car needs to have a pass prior. But the hotel makes the parking cheaper in the garage that you park in closest to the hotel which is nice (~12 instead of ~17)

We stayed 3 nights, the night through booking because we added it later when we decided to stay another night. Our first room was bigger and more comfortable than the room we were moved to for our third night. The day concierge, Maria, at the front desk was great. She was very nice and very helpful.

For this stay, the room we were in had a broken toilet seat.

the best western is in the city centre of Reims, the parking lot for your car is right at the beginning of the street where the hotel is located. The location is stunning. The hotel itself was in an old building, parts of it were renovated for example the fairly small but well equipped breakfast area, parts looked fairly outdated like for example the hallways. In the rooms the bathrooms were recently redecorated, but the bed room itself showed its age with some peeling/loose wall paper for example. it was very quiet.

in need of some modernisation, but this most likely made it so affordable.

The staff is very thoughtful and pleasant. Breakfast has everything you could look for. Rooms are very clean. One piece of advice for drivers: if you park in the underground parking lot across from the hotel, select your daily/2-day fare upon arrival.

We stayed in during the weekend and could hear some noise from the bars and pubs around.

We had a standard double room which had about half a metre of space on the sides of the bed, a little more at the end. The bathroom is a fraction of the size of the one in the provided photo. Very helpful and friendly staff at the front desk and very convenient to parking.

Central location with plenty of restaurants, shops and sightseeing goals in walking distance. Paid parking a stone's throw away. Very kind and helpful staff. Very good breakfast (at additional cost).

Perhaps a bigger room, but you get what you pay for , the bathroom had loo with no washbasin but shower and basin in separate area next to it, ensuite, and the drains ponged a bit, in the bathroom.But it was all very clean
