The young man who was our initial contact was very thorough in his efforts to make us welcome and explained the history of the building with great pride. All staff staff was very professional and friendly. Breakfast was worth the cost and very good.

The shower leaked onto the floor. It required us to use many of our towels. Other than that all was great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel !! Our room was huge, bathroom was huge, stunning decor , and the king size bed was the most comfortable!! Breakfast was so lovely. We loved every minute of our stay our stay , and can’t wait to return.

Loved the hotel, full of character and the team are great! Our room was beautiful and old character with big bathroom. I was working while travelling and found the pull out desk beaurau beside the window perfect for my needs, great high speed internet. Very comfortable bed. We also availed of the convenient car parking at the back.

Everything…..Grand Hotel des Templiers is a hidden gem. If you want a traditional, historic, old French style hotel….this is it. The moment you walk in you are enveloped by a feeling of history - Wonderful original wood ceiling, lush velvet seating and a feeling of gentle grandeur. Having had a difficult journey due to Storm Ciaran, to be greeted by the smiling Ivan who ran to help with bags etc the tiredness just evaporated. My room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. The hotel is a 12 minute walk to the centre of Reims, which in itself is beautiful, so exploring is very easy. Eric, who was on duty for the rest of the stay was absolutely delightful. He was so helpful and his recommendation for brunch on Sunday was fantastic. In fact, everything about the hotel is charming and I would certainly recommend it. Merci pour tout et à bientôt

The hotel has such an amazing vibe. It's clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast was super good (we went for the continental breakfast). The whole experience felt super personal. You don't feel like a number.

On booking.com it said that the pool was closed between December and April, but when we got there we heard that it was open. Unfortunately, we didn't bring our swimming clothes.

The hotel is charming, the staff could not have been more helpful, offering advice when asked and always attentive. It was such a short walk into the main part of Reims, which is a delightful city, full of atmosphere and history. Don't miss the Basilica, just as stunning as the cathedral. Chai Leon is a great wine shop. Our room was lovely and airy, the one hour free pool time was ideal, and it was a very pleasant facility after a long days travelling. If you are paying for breakfast pay the extra for the full version - better value for money and will set you up for the day

Nothing we did not like - everyone and everything was delightful.

Nice historic building. We slept surprisingly well given that the stairs creak quite a lot when you walk up. But the room was pretty quiet. Room size is good, chairs in the room to sit down, water heater is available. Large bathroom. Breakfast is a bit expensive, but there's an express option, which is good value if you're not into big breakfasts.

Leaving the hotel by car was almost impossible as the trash cans blocked the driveway. We had to put them onto the sidewalk in order to turn right.
