The breakfast was excellent, and the staff at breakfast was so friendly! The layout of the room was excellent. I love the little drawers in the bathroom and the ample plugs for all the electronics. The extra mirrors worked well! I was traveling with two teenage daughters. Also the ample counter space in the bathroom.

The floors could’ve been a little cleaner. There were four of us staying in the room. It would’ve been nice to have four towels from the beginning.

The courtesy shuttle to UMN saved my day. Staff is wonderful, all the team went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. The hotel is clean though the carpet is outdated and spotted. With some renovation, it will be a 3-4 star. I would give it an A+ overall and 10/10. Better than most 4 stars hotels aound UMN....

The room was spacious, there was enough parking, and there were fresh cookies one afternoon. For some rreason, they gave us an accessible room, so there was lots of room for us to spread out.

The mattress was a standard innerspring mattress. We were in a king-sized bed, so unfortunately, that means the two people will both roll toward the center of the bed. We stay in more than a few hotels every year. I can't remember the last time we had a bed with an innerspring mattress. These days, they're mostly memory foam. Or at the very least, they has a memory foam tipper on them to help with comfort and reduce motion transfer. No topper whatsoever. So not only was it uncomfortable, I could also feel every move the other person made all night long. Ugh. Didn't get much sleep those 2 nights, and woke up stiff from the too firm-ish mattress. Everything else was decent and modern. Spring for decent mattresses, Hampton Inn! We expect better from you!

Breakfast met expectations and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The front desk staff was always very helpful and friendly, as well. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Liked the location for visiting the University of Minnesota. Close to public transportation.

Didn't like that you had to pay for wifi if you wanted to do more than check email. Nothing else to say negatively about the facilities.

Some trash cans outside of the elevator smelled bad and weren't changed the whole time I was there. The location had some roadwork which made it much harder to leave or get into the parking lots during rush hour.

That hidden parking fee is complete bullshit! I’m not happy thinking this is all I’m paying just to get a rude surprise when I check in. I’m still bothered by it.

Besides the parking fee, the lady that stands there and won’t leave you alone during breakfast is a bit much. She does too much. I just want to be left alone to eat it’s the morning she is all up in the business

The room smelled so clean when we walked in which was a nice feeling. Our 1st floor room had the tallest ceilings I've ever seen in a hotel. They really helped and catered to patients at the U of MN. Parking garage after snow was big bonus

Have stayed here quite a few times over the last few years and my one comment I would make, and this is for every room we’ve stayed in, is that many of the outlets near the bed and desk don’t hold the plug enough to allow a device to charge. I’ve had to plug phones in the bathroom which is very inconvenient.

We used public transportation and this location is very convenient for that. The staff was super helpful whenever we had a request. The breakfast is staffed by a very hardworking and friendly person. A pleasant stay overall.

Parking is limited, if you have the option use a rideshare app. They do have a shuttle for in town transportation so you'd only need to pay for the ride to and from the airport
