Delightful place! The nature, the beach, and the family oriented place were fantastic! I want to clarify that it says that it is only 6 miles from Venice, but you really need to take a ferry or a bus to go there. My husband and I enjoyed riding bikes, walking, and the small town feeling this part of Italy offered; at the same time, we enjoyed the convenience to use public transportation like the bus or the ferry to Venice and to the other places. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very helpful.

The staff has been very friendly and accomodating. When I arrived, my room was upgraded. The air conditioning was working very well, and very quiet. I slept well. The breakfast looked very nice, and lots to choose from. The hotel has a lovely little park on the side to the beach, with chairs and tables to sit outside. There are a few mosquitos, which you would expect. The beach is just a few minutes on foot, with a parasol and a deckchair for free. The beach has fine sand, clean and extends to either side: I enjoyed walks on the beach for more than an hour each way. The coffee places very close to the beach are my favourites, enjoying a cappuccino or having a bite to eat. The hotel also offers lunch and dinner, but I did not participate. It also has a bar. There are quite a few restaurants to choose from, they are close by. The hotel is very conveniently close to a bus stop, which also goes to the place where the water taxis to venice depart from. Bicycles are available for rent, which is very convenient, to explore this beautiful peninsula

Staff were so nice and friendly. It is a credit to the family run business (over 40 years) to foster such lovely staff! Hotel Valdor has a pleasurable, warm, home-like ambiance for guests that I found is sometimes lacking in today’s corporate style hotels. We enjoyed their full buffet breakfasts and dinner (great value!). Their dining room overlooks a serene tropical garden oasis. They have direct access to the beach, a private pool, parking on-site. We stayed over summer and we really appreciated our in-room air conditioning plus ceiling fan! A true delight to stay here. We will definitely come again!

A nice setting with a wonderful garden. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast ist phantastic, with evwrything from sweet, thru savory to fruit & fibre. The beach is near (5mkn across the camping site) and for children there is a pool, a mini pol with slides etc. - on the site. The hotel has their own beach area with beds, chairs and umbrellas. The beds are good (a bit hatd for me, but that is just individual preference)

Typical Italian sound-proofing in the building. You hear much more from staff working and other guests than you care for. In addition, In addition, the entrance of the camping site is right there... And there is not much else to do other than beach... everything else is a car/bike ride. The technical state of the bathroom was "working" - as oppsed to "nice"

The hotel’s amenities were a bit outdated. There was only 1 electric plug in the room (altough they provided a divider on request), the AC was old and loud. It was my impression from the description that the hotel had an on site restaurant but this was not the case.

I like to come back to Hotel Valdor for some next vacation. It’s the most beautiful hotel and area I have seen. I was really surprised how beautiful hotel I chose. Everything there is awesome, very nice stuff, the best breakfast, fabulous area, hotel very close to the beach, very special furniture in hotel. The stuff on the desk is very helpful and I got a lot of information and advice. Close to hotel is camping, very nice park and nature and beautiful sandy beach. Connecting with bus is very easy and from Punto Sabbioni is possible to go with boat to Venezia (it takes 1.5 hour) or to other places. Thank you Hotel Valdor!

Perfect location , The hotel has an own beach, closed and free parking. The room was tidy , The staff was kind and helpful. There is a great restaurants not far from here with playground. The ferry to Venice ( Punta Sabbioni ) is close by car and approachable also by bus , which starts toward The hotel . The breakfast is rich and savory. There is also a camping , which belongs to The center.

The Price is not too low, and didn’ t include The breakfast .

Super nice place surrounded by a garden where you can take a quite beer in the evening. Friendly, easygoing staff and very cozy, large seating areas inside and outside. It's a bit dated, with loads of old Murano glass objects hanging at the walls, but I actually prefer that to the characterless globalised design you often find in newer hotels! If I remember well it was a 8 min. walk to the bus stop that within 10 minutes (c. € 2) takes you to the ferry port to catch the vaporetto to Venice. I would come again.

I didn't like the many large insect traps that made an electric buzzing noise every 20 seconds when an insect got killed. A Spanish friend that this is completely common in the Mediterraneans, but I have never come across it. I hope it kills only mosquitoes.

We knew the hotel was on a campsite and so was expecting it might be quite basic. But the room, breakfast, room service (daily cleaning) and hotel generally was excellent. It was such good value for money too, it include beach beds and umbrella and use of beach and pool

Very nice location. Friendly personel. Big parking. Very clean. Nice family atmosphere.

Small room. Toalet inside shower, not acceptable. Bathroom so small that I had difficulties to close the door. All this by additional payment for bigger room. At night noise from external ventilator.
