Breakfasts very good, always plenty of choice. Staff always very helpful Pool ,a good size. Room cleaned every day and towels changed often Air con and showers very good Local bus stop literally outside hotel into town centre.

Paid up front for breakfast, couldn't have 3 of them because of an early start for travelling for our days out. Hotel unwilling to credit us for the missed breakfasts. Offered a pre- packed breakfast which was a bottle of water,an apple,various packets of dry crackers and jams with no knife included. Not the best,only took it once.

We had a very good experience here at Viktoria Palace Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been a little larger and a little quieter, but we knew going in that we were in one of the "cheap" rooms, so it was alright. We loved the location because it was on Lido Island, away from the crowds and craziness of Venice itself. It was really nice to be able to come to a beautiful relaxing quiet location after a day of pressing crowds and sight seeing. It is easy to get to if you understand the water bus and land bus systems there in Venice and Lido; after arriving at the water bus station in Santa Maria Elisabetta, you take a regular bus just 3 or 4 minutes up the road and you're there at the hotel, at the last stop on the bus route (the buses turn around right in front of the hotel). We also loved the breakfast; one of the staff made us coffee every morning (there is also a self serve machine there in the breakfast room); while the "hot" items could have been warmer, there was a great variety of food to choose from, and plenty of it. We have no complaints about the breakfast whatsoever. We would recommend this hotel, and we would definitely consider it an option to stay here again if we came to the Venice/Lido area again.

There is really not much to say here. The room could have been a bit bigger and quieter, but it was fine. I also didn't like giving the credit card number (after I had already paid online) in case "there were damages to the room". I suppose it is standard operating procedure, but it was the first time I remember being asked to do this at a hotel. Really overall, no complaints.

Hotel is 4 stars and i think the service fully corresponds to the status of the hotel. Personal is kind and ready to help, most appreciated nice women who work during breakfast. The room was nice, designed in lightly 'venetian' style, very clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Me and my friend liked a lot the garden and swimming pool, spectacular territory, specially because we had a room with the exit to the garden.

The air conditioning didn't work properly all the time, that is why we had to ask the receptionist to help to control and fix this for several times.

The location was very pleasant and there was easy access to the ferry by a short bus ride. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was comprehensive and tasty. Happy to recommend the hotel to those who want to be on the waterfront and away from the crowds.

Even though the pool was no longer open at the end of October, the back garden could have been made more presentable with a little bit of effort. It all looked a bit rub down.

The property was very classy and clean. Beautiful location overlooking Venice lagoon. The pool was gorgeous and quiet even during peak time. The room was very grand, but small. we did however pay for the cheapest room so we didn’t mind.

The location is a good 20 minute walk to the main Lido port if you don’t mind walking! We walked everyday, but there is a bus shuttle service which is every 10 minutes. The nearest beach was busy, but we cycled the length of the island with the hotel bikes and found some beautiful, more quiet beaches. Worth doing to explore more of the Lido!

Staff were welcoming and genuinely happy to help in any way. Effortless check in and check out, fantastic breakfast. Room was great with fantastic view from the balcony, very comfortable with roomy bathroom and chairs with desk. 10 min from Lido centre and main vaporetto stop, with a bus stop right outside the hotel (fares covered by the vaporetto pass). 8 min walk from tronchetto stop at S.Nicolo.

The room had been cleaned every day, the towels were replaced daily. The staff was excellent and considerate during our stay. At first we didn’t think too much of the pool, but after 3 hours in the sun at the beach, going to the pool and staying under a tree and enjoying a swim was everything we didn’t knew we needed. We ordered an aperol spritz and the barman brought some olives and some chips along, on the house. The location wasn’t as bad as I first thought it will be. To be honest, I think I prefer to stay here then on any other island. It is a nice little town. There is always a vaporetto that you can take from the station and go wherever you want. I highly suggest to buy a pass for the number of days of your stay. It will come in handy. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety!

The room was smaller than I expected it to be. I think that it was a little too expensive compared to other hotels I stayed in, but it’s probably because we booked it with 3 days prior.

This place was a really nice hotel. It was half hour to 40mins waterbus ride from venice. Ideal if you want to still be close to venice and not pay extortionate price as some places do in Central venice. It's family friendly as well if you just want to get away as a couple. Breakfast had alot of variety but as we could only eat vegetarian option the variety was still good. There's a little veranda where you can eat on the terrace and enjoy the sea view which is amazing. And the hotel is literally a bus ride away from the waterbus stop and the bus stops right in front of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and had helped in organise a surprise birthday do for me in the room with, cake, balloons and drinks as requested with extra charges of course. Lots of food places nearby that is only a bus ride away. Room is clean and big spacious we had a little balcony which looked over the garden.

Pool could've been kept a bit cleaner. There was lot of bugs floating in the water. I would expect a few but there was quite abit. The pool and surrounding area was nice and did have a swim in it though but not as long as I'd have liked.

Great hotel, totally worth the money I payed. Really friendly and professional staff. Hotel has a beautiful yard and pool. Specially should mention the breakfast- it was just outstandingly tasty, so various and plenty, definitely the best one I had during my stay in Italy! The hotel is just in front of the bus last station-round point, so it is really practical to get there. The place itself is really beautiful. Wish to come back and stay a bit more next time!

Nothing to mention as everything was really fine.

The quiet area at the end of the 5 minute bus route along the foreshore to the hotel door. The bus to the town was every 20 minutes and the ferries to the canals just as often. Beats staying in the hustle and bustle of Venice and much cheaper too. Staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was a veritable buffet of foods. Eggs, bacon, sausage,toast, cereals, cakes, pasteries, fruit, juices, coffee and more.

The air/con control was either not working or impossible to use. Whenever a 'neighbour' opened or closed their door our door rattles as if someone was trying to break in. As a light sleeper this was un-nerving through the night.
