On the quiet end of the Lido, extremely relaxing. Bus stop directly in front that takes you to main central street with restaurants and shops, and the ferries and beaches. Breakfast was excellent buffet. Easy to get into Venice by ferry. Great view from our room on lagoon side. Beautiful mature trees and grass surrounds the pool side.

The restaurant wasn't always open. But there are lots of great places to eat in the center and along the beaches.

We loved this hotel staff where amazing went out of there way to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable, lots of help from Marco before we even arrived telling us which water bus to catch to get to lido and which bus to catch to get to hotel . The man working the bar (didn't catch his name ) was also wonderful loved to have a chat on the days activities while serving lovely wine in the garden and organising a meal for us on arrival Breakfast was also delicious with everything you needed to start your day even with a glass of bubbles. The hotel itself was great beautiful garden to sit it out back with a beautiful pool , this hotel has been one of our favourites since travelling Europe we can't speak more highly of the hotel and its staff

Nothing not to love about this hotel

Great location on the Lido - easy to get into Venice via waterbus and easy access to the beach. Best of both worlds. Public transport on the Lido is good with bus stop right outside the hotel and buses every 10 minutes during the day like clockwork. Pool area was nice with barman who will serve drinks direct to your sun lounger. Hotel were very helpful with information about transport to the Lido before we arrived.

Hotel feels a little outdated in terms of decor but perhaps going for more traditional feel.

We were very happy with our stay at the Viktoria Palace Hotel. The room was great, the garden and the pool as well although it was still a little too cold to use it (end of May), anyway it was a very nice area. If you want to visit Venice, I recommend staying at the Lido - so you can have the best of both worlds: more of a countryside feeling but close enough to culture/shopping as the connection St Mark´s Square is very good and there are vaporetti even during night time (every 30 minutes).

Breakfasts very good, always plenty of choice. Staff always very helpful Pool ,a good size. Room cleaned every day and towels changed often Air con and showers very good Local bus stop literally outside hotel into town centre.

Paid up front for breakfast, couldn't have 3 of them because of an early start for travelling for our days out. Hotel unwilling to credit us for the missed breakfasts. Offered a pre- packed breakfast which was a bottle of water,an apple,various packets of dry crackers and jams with no knife included. Not the best,only took it once.

Hotel and pool area were spotless and the staff were very obliging and always ready to help. Hotel is located about a 25 minute walk to the main town on the Lido / ferry terminal to Venice. However don’t let this put you off as the local (A) bus seems to run every 5 minutes there and back… such a great service

Nothing to dislike

We had a very good experience here at Viktoria Palace Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been a little larger and a little quieter, but we knew going in that we were in one of the "cheap" rooms, so it was alright. We loved the location because it was on Lido Island, away from the crowds and craziness of Venice itself. It was really nice to be able to come to a beautiful relaxing quiet location after a day of pressing crowds and sight seeing. It is easy to get to if you understand the water bus and land bus systems there in Venice and Lido; after arriving at the water bus station in Santa Maria Elisabetta, you take a regular bus just 3 or 4 minutes up the road and you're there at the hotel, at the last stop on the bus route (the buses turn around right in front of the hotel). We also loved the breakfast; one of the staff made us coffee every morning (there is also a self serve machine there in the breakfast room); while the "hot" items could have been warmer, there was a great variety of food to choose from, and plenty of it. We have no complaints about the breakfast whatsoever. We would recommend this hotel, and we would definitely consider it an option to stay here again if we came to the Venice/Lido area again.

There is really not much to say here. The room could have been a bit bigger and quieter, but it was fine. I also didn't like giving the credit card number (after I had already paid online) in case "there were damages to the room". I suppose it is standard operating procedure, but it was the first time I remember being asked to do this at a hotel. Really overall, no complaints.

Hotel is 4 stars and i think the service fully corresponds to the status of the hotel. Personal is kind and ready to help, most appreciated nice women who work during breakfast. The room was nice, designed in lightly 'venetian' style, very clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Me and my friend liked a lot the garden and swimming pool, spectacular territory, specially because we had a room with the exit to the garden.

The air conditioning didn't work properly all the time, that is why we had to ask the receptionist to help to control and fix this for several times.

The location was very pleasant and there was easy access to the ferry by a short bus ride. It was clean and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was comprehensive and tasty. Happy to recommend the hotel to those who want to be on the waterfront and away from the crowds.

Even though the pool was no longer open at the end of October, the back garden could have been made more presentable with a little bit of effort. It all looked a bit rub down.

Great location right by the water! The room was clean and tidied up regularly. Friendly staff, especially the lovely lady serving breakfast. The area is quiet and peaceful, and there’s a nice pool in the backyard – perfect for relaxing. Really enjoyed the stay!
