We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Indigo Sant’ Elena. The room was spacious for us and our 11 yo daughter, the beds were so comfortable and the hotel so quiet that we had such a nice night rest after sightseeing. The location is perfect, a quiet residential area with a vaporetto stop conveniently located within one minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was simply amazing and served at the bar area which is really nice.

The hotel is very beautiful and decorated with care and taste. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

There is an acoustic problem, you can hear the street noise very well. The curtains are not airtight (there is no possibility of complete darkness) and the windows cannot be opened at all and there is no air in the room. Cooking smells came from the air conditioner vents.

The breakfast was lovely and a good selection. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The location is great for couples but we travelled with two younger kids and probably a little too far for us to walk to city centre and main attractions each day, especially in the extreme heat. Thanks for the tip in what it would cost to get a private water taxi when we arrived at the train station, we had one guy agree on a price and then called up the taxi guy who refuse to take us for that price and wanted more. We refused and went further down to the rank and negotiated for the price the Hotel had advised and agreed to take us.

The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was wonderful, there were no mosquitos (I read many reviews of other places complaining of mosquitos before I booked the Hotel Indigo). This was an excellent choice for our short trip to Venice. While the hotel is not exactly in the center of the city, it only takes a couple stops on the boat to get to the key attractions.

I am not sure if it is specific for Hotel Indigo - sound isolation seems to be a problem in many hotels, starting around 7 am it becomes noisy, and you can hear people walking, talking, etc.

I really liked the location, it is set in a beautiful neighbourhood. The hotel was nice, breakfast was good but the same everyday so after three days not so exciting. We were able to walk to the centre of Venice in 15 minutes

The room windows did not open so it had a slightly odd unventilated smell which was a shame as the room was spotless but felt a bit odd. The restaurant was closed as they had no chef it would have been good to have been informed as we came back one evening hoping to dine there and then explored the area and the only other restaurant in the neighbourhood was closed for holidays.

very friendly and helpful welcome. Room was upgraded, although the bed was very very comfortable it was a tight fit on one side. We liked being on the ground floor. very quiet. Breakfast was very good. Coffee service on one morning was a bit chaotic. Scrambled eggs lovely but grilled courgettes not nice at all. Could we have mushrooms instead please?

The garden is lovely and we enjoyed sitting in sunshine outside BUT dreadful pop music relayed outside which spoilt it for me. Surely unessessary in a lovely garden? No complaints othrwise.

It is a very nice hotel with great design and attentive staff. We also liked the location. It can feel a bit far from the “center”, but still it is the same island as San Marco, which is reachable in 20-30 Minutes by foot through the nice garden and the promenade. Vaporetto stop is just on the corner. We had a halfboard option. The breakfast and the dinner were very good.

We were staying with kids and were sure that halfboard is also an option for them. It is not written anywhere, but only on booking PC version in the end of description of the hotel, that only adults can enjoy 3 course dinner. This was very disappointing.

The location was very good. It was inside Venice and also wasn't in the middle of the mess. It was really easy to get to the hotel through boat. The staff was kind and helpful. Great value of the money.

The shower could be better. No pressure in the water and it wasn't that warm. The region was really good, but if you need something to eat after 10PM you will struggle to find something nearby.

I only spent one night there, so probably I didn't have a chance to expolre. I like the location on Sant' Elena Island. It's a great place for families, Biennale visitors, or people looking for a nice spot, away from the tourist crowd. It's a great area for a morning run! The room was nice and overall spacious, but the bed didn't have much space around it (for someone who might have some mobility restrictions) For me was ok. The bed and cushions were quite comfy. the staff is super welcoming and kind!

I had the chance to have a light lunch there, but let's say, 2 basic sandwiches (one was not what I ordered, but okay, it can happen) and 2 glasses of wine + water—the price was just too high, ...but it's Venice

Room was alright we’ve stayed at many an IHG and are always pretty happy with their hotels and the rooms. The room was perfectly fine, but nothing mind blowing. The staff were lovely and accommodating especially after a later journey into the city. Some people won’t love this location, especially if it is their first visit to Venice, but we really enjoyed being someplace quiet and residential after many precious stays in busier parts of the city. The morning walk to the city center was a treat. Breakfast was alright again nothing mind blowing but a solid selection of items and good coffee which we really enjoyed. It was quiet and we loved the shutters outside our window. Would tag again.

Breakfast was okay again I think most breakfast buffets are hit or miss. But we were very glad to have it as an option during this very busy trip!
