Breakfast very good. The personel was very friendly and I really enjoyed that. The room was comfortable. The place has a nearby bus station, good for moving with luggages. Also, the personel helped us with some info about the vaporetto from Lido to Venice which was helpful. Additionally, the breakfast was pleasurable with many kind of food. The bidet which is specifically italian was really nice. Also the bath was very good with towels and everything I needed, since I forgot my own shower gel at home and also I forgot to get my towels from the main hotel room (too lazy to go to them again).

The air conditioning was not working. It was not that hot in that day, but I was expecting it to work (if I was putting it on level 1 or 3, it would have stopped, and on level 2 it sounded like it worked, but after going out for many hours and put on level 2, the air conditioning still did not do its work.

Simple but excellent, low-key traditional hotel with grand view over the lagoon towards the city of Venice. Ten minutes walk along the lagoon quay to the vaporetto for Venice, some traffic on the road but very quiet by night. Ample clean corner room with beautiful covered balcony (loggia), go for these ones! No modern frills, in fact nicely stuck in the past; exceptionally good value for the price for Venice. Interesting also to explore the Lido, its art nouveau villas, Jewish cemetery, the Murazzi... Ideal for longer term stay, away from the madding crowds yet close to the city.

Breakfast could have been fresher (juices, eggs) and more complete.

Bottom line is don't hesitate to book a room. The Location is excellent with a 10 minute walk to the water ferry that will take you to any of the top sites in Venice. There is also a upscale restaurant and bar area across from the ferry. The room was quiet, breakfast was very good, the room, like all but the high priced hotels, was small but adequate. What really impressed me was the manager at the desk went out of his way to explain a quicker and cheaper route back to the airport.

The window opened but the mechanism needed repair.

The area around the property is absolutely beautiful. If you are coming from the main island of Venice, you can take a vaporetto ride and then either a short bus ride or a 12 minute walk (along the water!). The hotel itself is beautiful and the room itself was well worth its price. The included breakfast was a nice start to each day and after spending time in the hustle and bustle of the main island, I am extremely happy that we chose to stay on Lido.

The location is very good. Hotel is situated directly at the waterfront with a nice view of Venice. Friendly staff. The room was a bit small but clean and quite comfortable. Breakfast: very italian but o.k. with some hearty options like scrambled eggs.

Bathroom definitely too small. The shower is so low that I (my height: 1,80 m) could only shower while doing some exercises (good for your health but not really comfortable). In room safe did not work (there was no key)

The hotel was lovely, we had a room on the third floor but the terrace door was stiff, annoying as it let flies etc in but the view was amazing. The Wi-Fi was excellent as were the staff, especially the older lady and gentleman on reception. The breakfast was a basic continental one but with plenty to eat. The only thing that put me off was the distance to the water bus stop, a good 10-15 mins, other than that everything was amazing.

The walk to the vaparetto

Nice and rich breakfast (for Venice), good location, 10 min walk from Lido vaporetto, balcony with a nice view of Venice. The room was smaller than it seemed from photos, but still sufficient. Nice to have a kettle with teabags. However, its 4 stars rating is a bit overstated, its a nice cosy hotel with cca 20 years old rooms, but clean and friendly.

The air condition was behaving weirdly, making the room too hot even in mid-November, although it was set to 15 degrees...

Location on the Lido was fabulous, our first time staying over there, would highly recommend it. Hotel was lovely - staff were fabulous and very helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Room a good size with gorgeous views from the balcony.

Personal preference but I would have liked a few more choices at breakfast, maybe a few warmer items. Continental choices were still great, coffee fabulous and everything plentiful.

Our room was cozy with a beautiful sea view. The beds were quite comfy. Nonstop reception much appreciated. The breakfast was great, it definitely exceeded our expectations (no offence, Italy <3).

The walls were very thin so we could hear our neighbours' (and their toddler's) every move. That's not something the hotel can change overnight of course. Just be sure to take a pair of earplugs!

Property was clean, however paid extra for a balcony view over the Lido and all I could see directly in front was a tree, had this had been mentioned I would have booked a standard room
