Firstly, it's so close to Samarkand train station which is about 8 minutes walk. Can't complain Secondly, staff here are very friendly. They make me feel that they are family members (I have found out that they are not, but they really make me feel at home). They are very responsive to my request. When I reserved a room via the Booking.com, I asked a few questions about the transport arrangements. They replied to me swiftly and proactively. Thirdly, it's really good for value. How can you stay in such a good 4-star hotel by paying only 28 euros a night including breakfast?! I know I stay during the so-called 'low season', but it's a good bargain. One last point: the check out time is crazily late, which is midday! They even cook a breakfast for me when I wake up at 12pm. Can't believe it!

Not really, but it is slightly away from the tourist hotspots and where the mosques are located. Yet, if you are willing to pay 2 or 3 euros for taxi, this should not be a problem. I simply walk from the hotel to Bibi Khanum mosque without problem.

Staff were exceptional, first class in all aspects. Location was great for us, not far from the railway station. Hotel can arrange tours, guides and taxis for getting around if needed. Super comfortable bed and well appointed room. Shower of high quality. Breakfast was excellent with good variety. Dinner in restaurant was good too. Staff in restaurant helped with early breakfast before catching an early train. Wine tasting cellar for those inclined.

Room overlooking main road. No problem with soundproofing and aircon on, but would have liked to open window and turn aircon off.

We had an amazing experience at Bagizagan Hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were incredibly attentive and kind. They will help with anything you need. The room was very spacious, very comfortable and SPOTLESS! We slept very well. We were here during low season. This time of year it gets very hot so we were thankful that the AC worked perfectly! A benefit to being here during low season, when the hotel is quiet is that breakfast was served to the table. Delicious food and more than enough. We enjoyed it very much. During busier times breakfast is buffet style. We chose to also have a lunch and a dinner at the hotel. You will have a great meal at a very reasonable price. The restaurant is lovely and the food is excellent. We enjoyed the Chef's Osh (Plov) with a local Bagizagan wine. Delicious. We are sad to say that we missed visiting the cellar that showcases the Bagizagan winery. Next time! Another benefit to being here during low season is the ability to speak to the staff more. We want to specifically call out Sardor, our waiter for most of our time - he was exceptional. A young man with a very bright future. This hotel would do themselves a service to ensure he excels and continues to employ him. Bagizagan exceeded our expectations.

This is not something we didn’t like and had no issue whatsoever however we are just pointing out this location is not walking distance from attractions however it is a very easy and quick taxi ride to anywhere for $2.50-$3.00. Also, if coming by train it’s less than 1KM so perfect access for train travellers.

New nice hotel. Helpfull staff, good location to train station. The hotel arrange dinner for us to a good price. Recommand to taste the Bagizagan wine, vert good! It is 10 minutes to city centre with taxi.

Good, but simple english breakfast

The hotel is very clean and it offers a good value for money. The rooms are spacious and with comfortable beds - hard ones. The breakfast is quite limited but sufficient. The hotel has a wine cellar in the basement where guests can book a seat in advance for wine tasting.

The rooms were above and beyond in terms of cleanliness and facilities. Staff members were wonderful too .

It was a little far from all the major tourist attractions. More importantly the rooms were incredibly cramped and small. No seating whatsoever except for a small stool.
