Loved our stay at Aspen. The location was so handy to walk to the pools and just around the corner was also a 4 Square so really easy to pick up the shopping we needed. The room had a great view and the balcony was so nice to sit out on and enjoy the sun. They have CD movie selections which the grandkids enjoyed. Bonus for us was that they also supply pool towels and a bag to put them in to go for your swim. Would absolutely love to come and stay again. Really nice and helpful owners and a map to show you things around Hanmer.

3-5 minute walk to everything Was big enough for our stay , didn’t hear any adjoining neighbours, we had the two bedroom unit tucked away up the top. Unsure wether we were supposed to get serviced or not , but we did have our own xtra tea coffee etc and we where 4 ladies who didn’t need it anyway.

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like the property because we did, only one thing I would say would be, there was no where to store our food it was out on the bench, possibly another cabinet to get food out of site an the bench a more useable space to prepare .

The location was fantastic...only a short walk from all Hanmer has to offer...golf course, pools, church, library/art gallery, shops, hotel (we were there for conference) and places ro eat.

The only thing I didn't like was the shower...no where to put shampoo/bodywash etc and shower too low and not very good 'head'...but otherwise everything was great

Comfortable, quiet two bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. Air-conditioned. Nice balcony. Easy flat walk to thermal pools. Towels supplied for use at thermal pools was great surprise. Great restaurants close by and easy walk to Main Street.

Bathroom could do with an upgrade but was quite adequate for our stay.

Amazing staff, so helpful! Thank you to the man working that day, you really helped me at a very difficult time. The man helped me with bags on arrival and depature aswell as helped me with my children and making up an extra bed. Smart TV was a plus and everything worked well. Will be back to book again. Location was brilliant so close to everything. Room was large and had a nice balcony.

The beds were not very comfortable

Fantastic location and great atmosphere

The kitchen and bathroom should never be in the same orientation. Opening the bathroom door gets opened to kitchen area and this is absolute no for us. Also the shower head is too low in the shower which is very inconvenient for tall or people with moderate heights. These things should be addressed and improved for a comfortable stay for every guest.

One room with very large bed and single bed for three people. Very comfy bed. Small but adequate kitchen, which we only needed for breakfast. Balcony with sun was lovely. Two heaters in the room. Bathroom perfectly okay, hot shower. Walked to hot pools and restaurant. We chose largely due to location/price. Only needed 1 night. Quiet. Owner very nice.

Good sized room, with good bedding options eg 2 single beds, queen and king. TV. Great location in central Hanmer. Stove element is good for light meals

Heat pump took a while to heat up, some parts getting a little dated but it's all working, clean and good value

Cannot beat the location, within 2 minutes walk to anywhere in town. Spacious room, clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of parking. Perfect place to stay. Thanks Mark and Lynette for an outstanding stay

Great location. Walking distance to town and hot pools. Comfortable, clean, warm apartment with everything you need. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. First time in Hanmer Springs. Will be back and will definitely book Aspen Lodge again.
