This is an exceptional place. The property is stunning and having the wildlife roaming outside the windows was magical. We spent our 30th wedding anniversary here and couldn't recommend it more highly for an amazing and romantic getaway. Beautifully set up and maintained.

Only thing was a group of people wandering on the property outside our window on day 2 (which was just a surprise as there were so few people around) and breakfast was a little disappointing with only 3 tea options (none of which were teas we drank) - no English Breakfast which is the most common tea. But only very minor complaints.

Absolutely loved our stay in Bushland. Great location, easy access with plenty of privacy, perfect for a little escape away. Enjoyed watching the wildlife come and go and the views were spectacular. The retreat itself was incredible and equiped with everything we needed. All the communication prior was super helpful, exactly what we needed to be informed yet self check in allowed for the freedom and privacy to come and go as desired. Thank you for providing such a wonderful stay :)

It was a real treat to wake up to a view of the mountain range. Loved sitting outside with the birds and wildlife nearby. Very handy bbq. Lovely breakfast provided. Very special place to stay.

Liked everything

Location was excellent, close to restaurants and shops yet in a bushland setting with mountain views and plenty of wildlife. The accomodation was of a high standard, comfortable and clean. Definitely come back again.

Amazing views, blown away by the scenery and peacefulness. Comfortable huge bed and so much openness. Waking up to kangas at your front porch is an absolute experience!

Luxurious stay - we thoroughly enjoyed the two nights we spent here. Absolutely beautiful settings, with wildlife including lots of kangaroos around the property. Nice touch with the food from the local area provided for breakfast.

The chalet was extremely clean, great location, stunning views of mountains and wildlife. Loved the glass windows all around the chalet. We absolutely loved everything about it.

Design of property makes the most of the unique surroundings. Wildlife very quiet. Really nice property. Panoramic windows . Very private.

There wasn't anything not to like.

Such a tranquil, private, and gorgeous property and in the heart of Halls Gap. Beautiful flora and fauna. The most kangaroos, emus, ducks, and deer we've ever seen in one location. And the best museli and fudge we've ever tasted!

Truly exceptional location - visited mid week - the privacy was incredible - the views/aspect is one of a kind within Halls Gap - an added bonus was the kangaroos, emus, blue wrens and corellas around the cottage just being and getting on with their life. Very calming.

Washers on the taps need changing - some where hard to turn off and stop dripping/leaking.
