We arrived after 9pm and the owner was accommodating and very helpful. Location was excellent, easy walk around Charlottetown and near main coffee shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good and selection was good. Room was very clean, had nice thoughtful touches like shampoo/conditioner/soap and cotton makeup pads and a make up mirror. Was very spacious for our needs. Great pressure in the shower and nice hot water. King size bed was very comfortable (as good as the Marriott in Halifax!). We only stayed one evening but wish we had more time and we would've stayed longer at this location if we needed the time. Highly recommended.

Location is superb - tons of character which is to be expected from a historic property. Room was large with a very comfortable bed. Located in a quiet area with a short walk to the downtown.

Breakfast was disappointing - poor quality coffee, the order from the kitchen was inedible. The "buffet" selection was poor, the only thing that was good was making our own toast. We have a plug in hybrid vehicle and we were disappointed that there are no charging points in the private parking lot.

Had a fantastic stay here! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, offering plenty of local recommendations. The breakfast was amazing – a buffet with lots of variety and a delicious, freshly made option. The omelette I had was probably the best I’ve ever had! My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a very comfortable bed. I especially appreciated the large wardrobe for storage, a convenient desk, and a fridge. The entire property has a lovely style that perfectly suits its character. The area is very walkable; you can park your car and easily explore the main parts of Charlottetown on foot. Highly recommended!

The Prince Inn is elegant and comfortable, a true 5 star tourism facility . It is very quiet but close to everything. The manager did a great job to let us feel welcome . The building is historic, beautiful, and tasteful. The Wifi, parking, quality breakfast are all free . The stay at the Prince Inn is one of my best B&B experiences.

The owners clearly paid attention to detail trying to maintain the history of this building while also providing today's level of comforts. Check-in was easy, and our room was very clean. The location was excellent, we were able to walk to a variety of restaurants, and the harbour. If you enjoy staying in the historic area of the city, this is an excellent choice! Our room on the third floor was a bit tight, but this is an old house afterall!

I felt the breakfast offering was a bit light, but we were also staying off season, and I can appreciate the host not wanting food waste.

The exceptional Staff, sparkling clean ( I even ran my finger over picture rail and no dust). Victoria house, recreated furnishings ( every room different) to Victorian era. And a wonderful breakfast room where all guests got to know each other. Thank You Cindy, Lucy and staff making this a memorial stay. I'll come again.

Nothing, I was perfect

We would like to highly commend the great work that Cindy, the one who received and take care of us, did when we stayed in Prince Inn at Charlottetown, PEI. The way she took care of the Prince Inn, the way she manages and prepared our breakfast, was so amazing. She treats us like royalties... The place was amazingly clean in every corner. She even prepared us a towelette that she transformed in a really beautiful elephant to greet us in celebrating our wedding anniversary! :D ...She is so kind hearted and at the same time so knowledgeable of the area. We felt really safe and the location of this Inn was really amazing. It is just a walking distance to the Lobster Wharf, Victoria Row, COWS, Anne of Green Gables Store and Chocolates, Water Prince Lobster by the Pound, Receiver Coffee.... literally a good spot in Charlottetown... and in the Prince Inn, you will feel like you are in a castle.. the decorations.. everything, even the old entrance door will transport you to a different era. And Cindy.... she is one of the best thing that this Prince Inn and Charlottetown has.. Hopefully, when we come back in PEI, Cindy will still be there. The memories we had in Charlottetown will stay with us forever... Thank you, Cindy.. We love you!

The location is excellent both for walking into town, proximity to restaurants and cafés as well as close to the highways. Ample free parking located in the back. The hostess Cindy is charming and very knowledgeable about where to go and what to see on the island. The breakfast served is plain but ample. We preferred to have breakfast outside of the hotel however at one of the many wonderful cafes close by. Our room was located at the front of the hotel. The street is very busy during the day but quiet at night. It may perhaps be noisier during the peak season. The room was pristinely clean! Towels and sheets changed daily. The decor might not be to everyone‘s taste however the prime location, the wonderfully comfortable bed, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff were 5 Star. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Some noise from the adjoining room but one must appreciate that the hotel is located in a historic building over 130 years old.

Everything was excellent! The size of the room, bed was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was great with a good variety of food. The property is easily walkable to town and a variety of restaurants and bars. The Pilot was excellent with great food, wine and service. Sunday was very sweet at recommendations for anything you needed including a laundrette!
